We really need this win now after The Chargers just won tonite

Yep. If we lose we're in huge trouble.

Disaster scenario is if we lose and PIT and CIN win. Might as well kiss the playoffs goodbye.

I am so disappointed that the Chargers won in OT. Man, this guy Rivers is scary. I just knew he was going to beat us well before he actually beat us with a TD pass... again our D is pretty porous when it needs to be stout.

i wouldnt worry about houston. kubiak coached there for 8 years. he's gotta to know something. jj watt cant take on the whole team. your guys front 7 is sick. that rookie qb is going to have a long day. i am not predicting a blow out but you guys will win. you guys will finish 11-5 dont worry about it. justin will get going early. if you guys let a rookie qb beat you then you dont deserve to be in the playoffs. where did that texans qb come from. the practice squad right. c'mon man. remember when jon gruden got traded to tampa bay from the raiders. what happened that year. tampa went to the superbowl and completly smoked his old team the raiders.

Im not taking anything away from Rivers, but the 9ers just completely collapsed and let them back in, a 21 point lead, really?  I think that was the nail in the coffin for Harbaugh

I'm not sure how much room there is left in that coffin for more nails.

49ers brass is stupid for wanting to rid themselves of Jim and/or driving him away when you consider his success.

Anyone else extra nervous about this game after last night's?

I think they lost some players in the secondary which really didn't make things better and Quinton Patton fumbled the ball in over time which really just gave The Chargers the win.

Something many overlook. The Houston players know Kubiak's tendencies the same way he know their potential. I'm not sure what it is worth but I do not believe that Kubiak has any type of advantage by knowing the players over them knowing him also.

As for the playoffs, those Chargers are keeping themselves in the hunt; the Ravens have no wiggle room.

That special team's (bad idea) line drive kick that gave good field position in overtime did the trick. Charger win!

nobody on that team knows kubiaks tendencies better than kubiak does, but i can bet you as a long time HC of that team and the large majority of his players/coaches still being there, he knows them better than they know us, their strong suit is their defense and run game, kubiak built that run game, he built arian foster, and he was the head man in charge when that defense was built, he coached case keenum as a rookie, he simply has way more knowledge that he can exploit than they have, they may be able to sniff out a few plays, but i think he knows their tendencies better than they know ours, he coordinated against that defense in practice for years.

I have a question about that game.  I totally agree with everyone that the game was bad, but some folks say that this was the worst game in history which makes me wonder.  The Ravens have been a franchise for 19 years, that's a lot.  Were there any of you that really believed that this was the worst game out of literally all 19 years?

Ravens have played some of their worst football against the Texans. In 10 we we were up about 21 I think just for the game to go to OT, even though they still won. The 12 loss started a mutiny and in 14, it was another stinker. It depends on what you qualify for worst loss. The worst we've looked or loss that's hurt the most?

I'd think it's about looking the worst. And I'd say the 2013 loss to the Broncos would be up there. Good job we didn't play the Patriots that year, as I don't think that would have gone well either.

The two most recent Texans games are definitely worthy of mentions though, and you certainly wouldn't ridicule someone for thinking they were the worst.

Jax Monday night football

Another solid candidate. Or that recent Bills loss.

It seems that every year we put up one or two seriously dreadful contenders.

Texans have been bad and I was thinking Bills. Had managed to erased Jags from my memory somehow, until.... I dont know if can say those though for the fact it wasn't the whole team but mostly offense. The opener against Denver comes to mind tho, even though it was really just a bad half.

The Texans games was far from the worst, BUT considering that Kubiak was our OC at the time you'd think we'd have been better pepared.

For me the 2013 Broncos opener was the worst in recent memory with the 2014 Chargers game a close 2nd.

Jax MNF 2011. No contest.

At some point we had a 4th and 43. No first downs until the 4th quarter iirc. And that was after the MNF crew spent all night hyping us as the best team in the AFC in the pregame. Just horrible.

The frustrating thing about 2011 was that all 4 loses were to teams with losing records. Win anyone of those games and we would've gotten homefield.

Redrum, I was referring the worst we've looked.

Recently I can think of the Steelers, 12 Texans, Broncos opener and 12 week 15, Patriots in 13 and Packers in 09 I think. Also 12 against the Cahrgers was pretty bad. The problem for me is finding games where all units just flat out stink from the get go. In the Jags loss, the offense stunk, but the defense did their job. Someone mentioned the Chargers, but offense did their job.
