Hopkins may not even play, game time decision per Rotoworld. If he's out...it's a wrap. Ravens win big.

I'd like to think so, but...

Yep, Reed's 1st game back as a non-Raven. After the game, Suggs was yelling across the field to Reed, "Is this what you left me for?" LOL Gotta love Suggs.

lol no way, is this on video? I have to see it

Just checked the Texans record and they only have 2 wins vs teams that are .500 or better.   They beat the 7-7 Browns and the 8-6 Bills.

I'd rather see what their records were at the time those teams played the Texans

I'd like to think so, but...

....we thought the same thing when A.J. Green was inactive the 2nd time we played the Bengals.   See how that worked out.

(Figured I'd finish your thought for you Inqui)

Classic line from the Texans' message board.  LOL

Like a goat sucks grass to its mouth, and poops gold = ravens draft and front seven

I don't like when all the analysist pick us to win..... Feels better when we are the Underdogs. As long as our offense comes out with a good efficient start and our defense eats up Case Keenum and Arian Foster we'll be alright.

+100, they all picked us to win vs the Chargers!

@TeamFlacco: .@barackobama It's James Franco, not James Flacco ;)

Anybody catch that live? lol

Haha, Flacco the scapegoat for a major studio hack and an international crisis, now? Fitting.

There are a lot of mean people on Twitter. Some of the responses are hilarious, but some are just downright nasty.

Haven't really seen anything too terrible about Flacco (nothing that isn't said everyday) but some of the comments about the President, geez. But that's politics so I won't say anything further.

The Texans have 17 INTs in 14 games, turnover margin +12. That's one of the best in the league and will be the key to this game.

I'll let the Jags score fill in those blanks. ;)

Wha....wha...which one?

But.....................?  :bitenails:

Lol, I 'm assuming that's a compliment?

No question neither is good.

My point is simply that there isn't a significant enough difference between the two for me to gain or lose any confidence in our ability to win the game.

I'm just a little confused why there's so much talk on here about how much better off we are to face Keenum than somebody like Fitzpatrick or even Savage.

Even if I were to accept that the talent difference between Fitz and Keenum were marginal (which for the record I don't, Fitzpatrick is in my opinion far more talented, he's just always taken too many in-necessary chances and turns the ball over too much. When on he can win a game with his arm, when off he can single-handedly lose you a game) the reason for the increased optimism is pretty simple - Fitzpatrick has been the starter and has had the whole season taking all the reps in the system and with his team mates.

Keenum, while he has prior experience with the Texans and a lot of the players, has minimal experience playing under O'brien and in this offense. He's been back with the team less than a week and has little to no time to get up to speed.

There's a lot to be said for continuity, chemistry and there's no replacement for game reps facing live bullets.

Keenum has spent the season on a practice squad. The difference between practice reps facing 3rd string and PS players and game reps facing our front 7 can't really be quantified.

So even if all things were truly equal between Fitz and Keenum, the difference in meaningful reps is enormous and absolutely makes Fitzpatrick a far more worthy adversary for our defense.

It doesn't make the game a foregone conclusion but it certainly gives us a huge advantage. Bc Of his familiarity Fitz would have had the green light to take chances and the potential, if really on, to make enough big plays to possibly beat us with his arm.

Keenum will have training wheels on and they'll call the game to give him easy, high percentage throws and lean even more on the run game. Could they still win? Sure. But they're going to have to play darn near perfect, mistake-free football to do it.

Advantage Ravens.

Knowing just what's as stake has me anxious about this game. Knowing we could *possibly* be in a clinching the north spot (let's be honest, while it's any given sunday, we're dealing with Manziel next week, it *should* be a gimme) - depending on how the other north teams play - and knowing that a loss could really hurt us (though the odds are still high we get in) - it's really... urgh.

I want tomorrow and I want tomorrow now!

I understand your anxiety but try to relax and prepare to enjoy today's (saturday) rare NFL games.

Whether they pick us to win or not has no bearing on how our boys play come game day!  That "underdog" moniker is deserved because of how the Ravens play at times.  You know; up one game, down the next!  Come out on fire one game and flat the next.  They even struggled with the 2-11 Jags...at home!  SMH!  Sure, the Jags are scrappy and played our other division rivals tough as well but to me; I can't stand those type of up and down performances.  Now, we're on the road to face the Texans who would love nothing more than to ruin our playoff march.  The ENTIRE Ravens team better get off the bus, show up and get'er done down in Texas!

Go Ravens!!

Let's also keep in mind that they're quietly still alive in the playoff hunt.
