I'm not sure that we have an easy here or not. This is a very tough team and we play them away. I actually like how this team plays away better than at home so that could a bonus. Obviously, the key to the game is stopping the Unstoppable. I fear our CB covering him. I hope that doesn't happen.

Outside of Watt, they have weapons with Johnson and Hopkins and a pretty good OL but not great. Let's not forget Foster and Blue. They could be dangerous with Watt on offense, as I mentioned. I also hate facing unknowns at QB. It's usually a recipe for disaster.

Furthermore, while Kubiak knows these players and their tendencies, the defense knows his plays and tendencies. Let's hope Kubiak beats his old defense.

I wonder if the familiarity of Kubes system will bite us , the same thing I assumed happened today

as much as people complain that we didnt work on our CB depth last off season, you need to understand that NO CB corps is 5-6 men deep. That's asking too much of Ozzie to both fix our problems from 2013 and predict things like this to happen. Take 5-6 guys away from ANY other secondary in the league and they will look Terrible. GUARANTEED

no one asked for a 5-6 deep CB corp. all we wanted was a competent 3rd CB and that never got addressed.

"Their next opponent, the Houston Texans, suffered a major loss Sunday when quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick went out with a leg fracture in Indianapolis."

Well this is big, but never underestimate you opponent, never!

I think Browns could switch back to Hoyer if Manziel sucks against the Panthers.

Interesting times indeed.

I thought Hoyer was actually injured though?

Either way, if they were going to do that it would have been done today with their playoff hopes fading with each failure of Johnny Football.

Now they would just look stupid to switch back if they gave the job to the rookie and Hoyer wasn't injured. I thought that's how Johnny Football got the start. Could be wrong.

For some reason, not scared of the Texans at all.

Despite the loss of Fitzpatrick, if we play anything close to the way we played today on offense we will get steamrolled by Houston. We better come to play against them or we will lose.

Catch the ball for Flacco and stay physical. Run the ball like we did after the bye week. Lets lead by a bigger margin before the end of the 4th please lol.

Nope, he just sucked.

"The Browns confirm Brian Hoyer has been benched for Johnny Manziel.
In a statement released by the team, Hoyer said he was "disappointed" by coach Mike Pettine's decision, but that he'll "be there to support Johnny." Hoyer has been perhaps the league's worst quarterback over the past six weeks, completing just 53.4 percent of his throws while posting a 3:10 TD:INT ratio. The move should have been made a week ago. Dec 9 - 4:33 PM"

I will tell you tomorrow as I am off to bed but it was ugly. We got beat today. We couldn't move the ball at all and Rodgers threw 3 intercetpions, one on a drive that looked very promising.

We can clinch the playoffs this week. Ignoring tie possibilities, we have two clinch inching scenarios with a win:

1) Losses by both Cin AND Pitt or

2) Losses by both SD AND KC

Dropped passes didn't help either. I saw one drop that went for a pick and a Jordy Nelson drop, that probably would've went for a td.

If we win, number 2 is the most likely scenario, considering the Steelers play the Chiefs and Niners vs SD. If KC could beat the Steelers wouldn't mind that either, since I feel pretty good the Bengals lose to Denver next week. Looking at that got me very hype. Ravens just need to won out and we should very well be able to win the division, as long we don't have any more games like today.

If they lose to the Panthers, at that point it would be pointless to put in Hoyer.  They need to use the rest of this season to see what they have in Manziel

Texans just brought back Case Keenum as QB. He was on Rams practice squad. Don't know if he'll start or not.

Wow, that changes thing a little.

The word going around is that he's gonna be the starter.

Pretty strong possibility 3 AFCN gets into playoffs. All with 10wins. Has that been done before?

Pretty sure that happened in this same division as recently as 2011. I think Pitt and we were 12-4, Cincy 10-6. All three in playoffs.

SD plays the 49ers.  The 49ers entire program is in disarray at this time.  I won't expect any playoff assitance from the 49ers.  Just win out Ravens!
