Two rookie QB's in two weeks, and one of them is Johnny Football that just got shut out 30-0?

I'm liking our prospects of getting into the playoffs here.

Obviously no room to underestimate any team, but our prospects look good getting to take on two rookie QBs in a row. This is a game we must and should win if we're playing our best; our offense has to get back to form, and the defense can't surrender big plays/points. 2 wins to go; Go Ravens.

We know what this game is about - JJ Watt. One of the best players in the entirety of the league. He owned us in 2012 and the Texans ran us over.

Chip him, have Gilmore put a shoulder in his ribs as a chip block before he goes out on a pattern. They swatted down tons of Flacco passes in 2012, was listening to NFLN today and they made the point that OLmen should 'put fear' into DLmen when they expose themselves going for a pass.

Kubiak will be fiery going after his old team, I assume, and he should know them in and out.

On defense, we'll be facing a new rookie QB again. Bortles has experience, though. Pack the pass rush on the Houston turf and make plays.

Is there any more way to emphasize we need to SHIFT our momentum and ramp it up to a playoff calibur team?

This game need to show me something! Playoff game is about the SUPERBOWL.

Be a KING or go HOME!

At least this rookie will be making his first NFL start, unlike Bortles who at least somewhat hung in there and gave his team chances.  I'd hope we get more than 1 pick from Savage, although our secondary is non-existant at this point.

as much as people complain that we didnt work on our CB depth last off season, you need to understand that NO CB corps is 5-6 men deep. That's asking too much of Ozzie to both fix our problems from 2013 and predict things like this to happen. Take 5-6 guys away from ANY other secondary in the league and they will look Terrible. GUARANTEED

We won the superbowl that year

Doesn't mean that loss shouldn't still be a sore point.

agree, new year new season, the past is just that past, we're fighting for a playoffs spot, and they would  love to knock us off, im more worried about our offense,

The only thing that scares me is JJ Watt and the running game. I do think Yanda and Wagner will be able to contain Watt pretty well. I'm eager to see Yanda vs Watt. Watt'll hurt us a bit though. He'll hurt the run game more than the pass game if you ask me.

Hope we can contain their run game, too.

We simply CAN NOT miss tackles on Arian Foster because he will take it to the house. We need to square up and get him off his feet.

Also Tom Savage came in the game and went 10/19 and 127 and is known for his arm and size.

So lets not underrate him because he's a big dude and can make big throws. Lets disguise our defense and overwhelm him early.

Something tells me a few Dirt pies and he'll have had enough.

Since there is no other game thread I'm very concerned now that Peyton Manning was taken out of the Denver/San Diego game.   Just when we were looking for Denver to knock them back.

I think we can handle Watt, Yanda is probably gonna help Wagner out, not to mention our two good tight ends.

Fitzpatrick broke his leg Doom-Sizzle will be looking their chops with a rookie QB

It'll be more about the line though...their o line is solid.

If the TEs are gonna help the WRs better be on point. The TEs have been Joe's focus the past few weeks with all the drops.

He's back (never thought I'd be happy about that lol) so they are looking solid. We should be in good shape.
