Could have been worse - imagine Giants did not pick him up and he was still on the board after Ozzie's selection...

Yeah, with DeCosta saying Mosley would have been our guy at 10 I think we'd have been prepared to pass on OBJ. That would have pretty much ruined my day, especially with how long we had to wait for the draft after that extra two weeks (and no playoff distraction).

I love Mosley though.  He's my dude.

I like him too (as I said on the other thread, I got his jersey early in the season and copped no end of rubbish at Heinz Field for wearing it), but if I'm being honest I'd still rather have OBJ. Two very talented players that are lighting it up in their own way, but I think Beckham would have made our team better (more well-rounded at least).

He'd be a good fit in Kubiak's offense too.

Guess the 8 sacks took a toll.

From NFL Mobile:

The Jaguars announced Monday that starting rookie quarterback Blake Bortles will be questionable this week with a mid-foot sprain.

Bortles didn't miss a snap in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but he was sacked eight times. The rookie has been sacked 46 times this season, second most in the NFL.

Dean Pees is finally starting to figure this thing out. Only took him 15 weeks. Still hoping Rex Ryan is available for DC next year.

Good luck, Rex Ryan can't even get his secondary to work.

Yeah, I'm not sure how he'd be much better with a *ahem* minor downgrade in DB personnel.

Exactly. His secondary is better and they can't do a dang thing.

In his defense, they're probably on the field more than our guys. Our pass rush is also better. Our d line isn't there's but there close enough and or lb core is top tier. Our offense also helps those guys out.

One complaint! In spite of having eight sacks and giving up none this was still a close game down to the end of the 4th quarter.

Being 4-12 on third down conversions and 1-3 in the Redzone will do that to you.  Not to mention we once again lost the TOP battle.

... it did seem that losing the TOP battle was a big reason for this game being close ... and that was lost due to the 3 extra possessions they got via the on-side kick, fake punt and Juice's fumble.

This is to be expected when playing a team with nothing to lose. I'm concerned about Juice not getting ball security. That fumble was inexcusable - trying to reach out to a first down marker in the open field. Hope he learns from this and doesn't repeat this mistake. Losing the turnover battle is one of the few pathways to defeat that I can see in these final 2 games.

And Justin Tucker leaving six points on the field. Wouldn't be blaming him even if we lost by two, but give us another six points and it doesn't look so bad.
