Oh, btw, Melvin got that pick. Don't care what the refs said. He had control of that ball even though it grazed the ground, which is called a catch 99/100.

those announcers were SO biased it was ridiculas

It sounded like they do Jacksonville games all the time which will tell you about their own quality lol

And that is my point.  Rip us apart?   Bortles didn't.  And they have better receivers than Houston and Cleveland.

Jax does not have better receivers than Houston and Cleveland. No way. However, at least the next two QBs have had less time to develop a rhythm with their guys.

The play-by-play guy is our everyday local TV announcer for the Phillies up here. He's just blah, always sounding just so excited to have his job, but not really doing it well.

One week were dark horse contenders for a deep playoff run the next week we wont go anywhere.  You guys need to calm down.  Look how many teams have struggled against the Jags.  All because we didn't dominate doesn't mean we aren't good

biggest difference between this ravens team and past ravens teams, Flacco did not sputter along with the offense. He did everything he possibly could to keep the Ravens in it and had so many drops. He didnt go 53% completion with 2 picks and 155 yards. He went for over 200 yards with 67% completion and a TD with no picks. Flacco is simply a different player under Kubiak and I love it

Textbook definition of an ugly game. Flacco was the best player out there, I'd say. Everyone else seemed to be having an off-day, Tucker being the biggest unfortunate surprise. Defense played a terrific second half, and a decent first half (holding them to field goals at least). Lots of work to be done; at least we officially secured a winning record - officially better than last year. Either way, no resting; keep getting better, and let's beat Houston and Cleveland.

Flacco played good, but he wasn't the best player out there. The BEST was mcphee. He and Jernigan close second. When it was 2nd half, and somebody needed to change the shift of the game, those two guys ramped up their game and changed the tide.

Heck, the Jags gave the Steelers and Bengals a run for their money.

For those who underestimated the Jags, I hope you learned your lesson. All I have to say about this stressful game.

I did not learn my lesson. However, I don't believe this will have any impact on future games since I don't actually play for the Ravens. :)

Offensive line had a good test today. Jags have the most underrated dline in the league. When we moved away from the stretch and started doing more inside zones we did better running, but it was rough. That's what happens when you play a front that good.

Wide receivers showed they can't handle press man today.

Gillmore got involved, but the one drop he had hurt.

Juice really impressed me with his blocking today. The run game wasn't that good but it wasn't all his fault. He's starting to get it together as a blocker.

Perspective

Almighty GB just lost to buffalo

Arod 185 yards and 2 picks

And a fumble which led to a safety and sealed the game. Happens to everyone

Jacksonville isn't half bad. They've beat and almost breast a lot of good teams.

No doubt, which is why I didn't like people underestimating them. Third most sacks in the league. Let's not forget where Gus Bradley came from, he knows defense.

I know right. really I am praying that the coaches just didn't want to show their hand for later games.  Its my hope that's the case.

Doubtful. More likely the Jags are a very good team with a mediocre QB.

Well after four weeks of awesome offense - I guess it is good they had their off game versus the Jags - still giving us the chance to win.

Now we have the off game out of the way - need another streak from the offense.

Impressed so far with melvin. Just keep him healthy now.

Pass rush is better without Ngata. Run defense suffers some but not too much.

Flacco seems to love him some domes - so offense should rebound in Houston.

Running game stinks. Receivers stink. Secondary stinks. Special teams stinks, aside from one play. Discipline stinks. Injury situation stinks. Cleveland stinks. Atlanta stinks. Sunday Ticket stream stinks. Archuleta stinks.

We win. That's all we needed.

This... hahahaha

Pathetic offensive effort.

Also, Melvin just might be the best corner on the roster.

He's darn near the only corner on the roster.

Brooks, Levine and Jackson...all 3 injured with Jackson's looking like another season ender.

I definitely think this was more stressful than it should. But its like one of the players said last week - when one part isn't functioning, the other parts pick up the slack. Our D made up for our O today. That's what good teams do.

Except he has played meh to terrible against the Texans historically... Especially at Houston. Think he's had one good game there statistically and one decent one with no touchdowns and a pick.

Well it was about time after the o had carried this team for 3 weeks
