Called it, that was the team I was scared would take him. There'd also be a case for the Bengals if they fire Lewis (they won't) or the 9ers, but the Bears still have some nice pieces on offence.

I will be devastated if Kubiak joins the Bears (or anyone else). He helped the Ravens become a top ten scoring offense.. the Ravens from Baltimore.

Bears are trying hard for Kubiak. Losing our only good Coordinator could really screw us.

I think (and hope) that the fly in the ointment is Kubiak's wife.  With him having that health scare in Houston, I would think she would not want him to take the top job anywhere for a while.  I am pretty sure she has veto power.

if kubiak goes I see 2013 all over again. we don't have anything to compare in that position on the other side of the ball. we needed him.

Steve Biscotti needs to retain Kubiak with all his powers like treating him the best Baltimore crabs for the rest of his life, giving up a glorious raise, and sign him a longtime contract.  Just do whatever to make him feel like home......

 

PS: my head hurts thinking about Kubiak leaving more than any game loss.......

I know I'd hate being a head coach. Too much managing, not enough teaching. The head coach is like the principal, and the coordinators and the assistants are teachers. To me, the only pro of being the head coach is the money.

Rex Ryan would have been better off with a team like the Bears or Falcons. With built offense in place and he could build his defense ( even with the Jets the year after they lost Revis they overachieved as a defense because of his scheming. ).

With the Bills he has strong defense again. Excellent front 4 ( returning kiko Alonso ), RB talent ( but injured too much between Jackson and Spiller ). Young WR talent. At QB do they keep

Orton for now.

With what Kubes has done for and with Joe, I think he stays.  Joe had his best season of his career this season...  Not only that, I think they have a good relationship.  This team would be sooooooooo good with at least another season of Kubes under their belts.

I can't imagine being a head coach, either. I think I read once that Harbaugh sleeps in his office during the football season? How could you stand to be away from your family that much?

I think he will stay, he know that our team is just a few pieces away from winning a sb maybe multiple sb. Also he need to be able to have time to help his wife and taking a head coaching job leaves little to no time with ms.kubiak
