Kubiak will stay!  I believe that he loves being the O.C. that turned the Ravens offense around.  If he does stay, man!  This offense should be greatly improved and definitely considered in the top 5 in the league.

I believe that too and I think there's some good chemistry going on between the team and Kubiak. So let's hope this scenario will come true.

doubt he will leave unless he gets a mind blowing offer.

right now i think he will see how his health will hold up before taking another shot at a HC job.

I think he stays our OC for a while. We have a top tier organization with a winning atmosphere. He's not going to go somewhere that was crappy. The whole world witnessed what the stress of being a HC of a losing team managed to do to Kubiaks health. He's in his element as an OC and it's probably a lot less stressful on his mind and his body.

Our offense will be a project for him for at least 3 more years. Flacco will be Manning-esque when it's all said and done. Now if we could get Rex back to make our defense something to fear again!

"Does Kubiak Want To Head Coach Again? His Response

The Ravens offensive coordinator says he's consumed with his current job and is happy doing it."

Pretty vague (is that the right word to use?) responce, but he seems to enjoy his job in Baltimore.

whats up ravens fan. i am a life long seattle seahawks fan. kubiak is a good coach and he has made your offense real good. for you guys i think kubiak stays for a little while. yeah there will be openings next year but i doubt he will targeted. its only 14 games into his system. i doubt gm's will jump on that right now. if it continues next year for you guys then i would start to worry. plus he is happy where he is. i doubt if the jets or raiders come knocking kubiak takes it. anyway good luck on sunday against the texans. i predict you guys win out and make the playoffs. who knows it could be hawks vs ravens in the dance. the 2 best defenses duking it out. your insane pass rush against our run game and wilson. i would love to see that. that would be a great match up.

I wouldn't read too much into anything these guys say, unless something big's going on you can expect some pretty run-of-the-mill comment about how he's satisfied and focussing on the next opponent.

Or he could be looking to gain leverage in any talks with a future team. That's why I think Harbaugh Jr (the second-best one) got that massive offer from Michigan - I couldn't see it happening if he was harping in the media about how it's a fantastic program he's desperate to be part of and how he hates SF.

But like I say, these comments to the media don't tend to mean a whole lot.

a guy i work wiht relocated from portland last year. he is also a big seahawks fan. the seahawks play at baltimore next year so i will be bringing him to the game. it looks like the seahawks have risen to the top this year and will be the team to beat. the percy hawkins trsde threw people for a loop but it appears that trade has worked out well for the seahawks.

After his presser yesterday and his response to this very question, it seemed to me that if he gets a HC opportunity some place, he's gone. And yes, I read between the tea leaves.

I'm not sure....  After all..  He said "He's focused on what he's doing right now, and loves what he's doing right now".....

Just seems like the OC, DC, HC don't dissect each others game plans. Seems like had Harbs and/or Pees seen Kubes plan they could have said, "yeah, that's the same game plan and sub-packages you used on us when you were in Houston. We don't think you are going to fool anyone with this."

More often than not, we fans have not appreciated our OC but I can't say most teams have better. We played 6 games vs playoff teams and lost 5; perhaps our talent is just not very good.

Still, Kubiak probably should be retained; after all, if not him, then who?

I doubt Kubiak knows what he's going to do right now as he's not looking that far ahead yet.

If somebody comes along and makes him an offer that he can't refuse, then he's one and done with us.

Otherwise he sticks around for awhile.

I think the longer we're in the post season, the odds are of us keeping him. The reason why is a lot of those coaching changes will probably be done by the superbowl. My speculation anyway.

If there is some good news, I haven't heard his name much so far in the head coaching searches. We will see whether that keeps going or not

Per rotoworld.  The Jets have requested to interview Kubiak.

We need Kubiak to be thinking about this game full-time.  Not thinking about landing a HC gig, a position he really wants (probably no matter the team).   He'll have to wait until we are eliminated to interview.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Kubiak.  Just selfish and don't want a single ounce of distraction for the playoffs.
