I just got he text as well. Big news right there. I think he pounds the table for a WR or a TE.

Amen.

Kubes said "Ozzie, this is MY freaking draft... Got it?"

Ozzie : I need a DB

Kubes : find a gem in the 4-5th.

Wait...something consistent to grow another year with Joe.

I think he know the team was a few healthy guys away from a SB.

That is true.........a handful of contributors.

However, we need secondary help too.

Funny, sentiment seems to be that - Kubiak only said that because there were no appealing jobs available ... BUT ... if a HC job opened in DEN, he'd retract the statement and be on his way.

I dare say that is delusional. With the looming retirement of Manning, Thomas hitting the FA market, that team is in for some potential turmoil. I don't know that he'd be champing at the bit to go there.

For Kubiak to turn down other head coaching opportunities (even if health concerns play any part of the decision) is a huge reflection upon the specialness of the Ravens organization. That is the best possible news for me to feel encouraged about next year and makes the bitter pill of losing yesterday leave a much better aftertaste. Cowabunga!

There is absolutely no way. Kubiak is in love with our O-line, Flacco and it seems organization as a whole. He's been given a dream coaching opportunity here and he'll finish the job. And my bet is that nobody in our FO and coaching staff is thinking that the 2015 SB would be finished job.

The Ravens had to overcome alot of obstacles and still were VERY close to making the AFCCG. Yes, we are building something special here. Gary knows.

Great things will come from another year with Kubes in control of the offense. With barely anytime to work he completely transformed our Oline with late picks and run game improved night and day. Imagine what we can do in another year with him over here?

A quote from the Broncos forum on Kubiak staying

"PLUS, he's in a great organization that has a solid GM-HC duo... He has a proven QB in his prime... if he doesn't burn to be a HC again... then why leave a good thing? Not like Brady is getting younger... BAL just as good as anyone next season, no?"

Wow.... Pretty rare.

You sure that's from a bronco fan?

Then like four replies after that a guy says the only reason he's said he'll stay here is because John Elway hasn't asked him to become the Broncos HC yet... and Elway can be "very persuasive".

(Which reminds me of the Game of Thrones episode where Salladhor Saan says he can convince Cersei to sleep with him)
