hes an odd one..his stats say he isn't bad at all. He had some good seasons too. Maybe we can get something out of him. He's only 27-28

He's undisciplined and plays well when he wants to though he has the tools and experience.  He was having a career season it seemed before the Panthers released him.  Have to wonder about attitude issues.  Hopefully with the play-offs in sight and the Ravens ability to motivate he can turn into decent rotational DB for us down the stretch.

Pretty much him or a pack of gum. Shame they put Tramain Jacobs on IR

^ This right here. He's the only corner out there that's worth picking up

Seems like a good guy...

Well, at least he has experience. Maybe he can cover for three seconds. That should be all our DL needs to get sacks against Jacksonville and Houston, possibly even Cleveland. It's hard to hold off a pass rush for more than three seconds.

Seems like he has some upside and maybe he can help spark a resurgence in the back end of the defense....gotta stay positive and hope it all works out! 3 WINS and WE ARE IN!

Maybe being with a good organization will energize him, plus auditioning for 2015.  That and the playoffs being in sight.

He's probably the best of the bad bunch that is available right now and since he was just released last week, he at least should be in relative game shape.

His ratings on PFF (FWIW) are pretty bad, but again, at this point, there little chance of finding anything better.

Maybe he'll play well for a winning team. Some players excel with a change of scenery. Hopefully he feeds off the players around him and our front continues to dominate. At least we have a little depth now.

I think it's obvious what we will be targeting in free agency and/or draft....Every team needs 3 great corners in today's league.

He's a brave soldier for accepting this daunting task.... May we never forgot the cornerbacks who have went before him.

Good luck, Cason. And God speed.

Chykie Brown 2.0

You can't teach him anything that sticks w/ him.

At least he has the potential? Chykie Brown has never been a quality starter, Cason used to be one of the Chargers best corners. Like everyone said, hopefully a change of scenery gets him back to playing at a decent level.

I don't think we had a lot of options at this point. At least he's an actual CB and not a converted something or other.
