Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs

Watching MNF and they just said that ATL has 14 total sacks as a team.  Doom has more sacks than their entire defense.

That defense is sorry.  Flat out sorry.

I believe Oakland has less than Doom as well

I think 3 (or 2.5) more sacks for the duo this week

These Two are Impressive...  Hell our front 7 is impressive.

Well, it's going to be harder, now, for Elvis Dumervil to get those 5.5 sacks (just to tie the record) or 6 sacks (to break it). Getting only one sack against the Jags really slowed Doom's pace a little to much. And, I think it is becoming apparent that opposing o-line's are shifting their focus over to Dumervil, now.

Even against two solid offensive lines to finish the season, the Ravens will continue to rack-up sacks. However, it will be Suggs, McPhee and the like that will be taking-down the QB while Dumervil gets double-teamed.

Texans and Browns might both have rookie QBs against us so you never know.

Pretty unreal how we are getting at the QB.  44 sacks overall.  Just mindboggling.

If we make it to the playoffs, getting in QB's head w/ those sacks are going to kill the opponent.  Just keep it going.

This group of front 7 is special!

Both have significantly better offensive lines, however.

Houston does have a good OL but it's average outside of Brown and Myers, but both of those guys are really really good. This definitely isn't the Jaguars' OL but it's not great either. It is weak on the right side, so I expect a TE to chip Dumervil with Suggs getting one on one against one of the best LT in the league. It'll be a good test for Jernigan along with Williams, of whom I expect Myers will test at various points throughout the game.

Watching them has been a true pleasure this season. It's a thing of beauty

I've always enjoyed a good defensive battle over a shootout. The classic Ravens/Steelers or the recent Ravens/49ers are the way football should be.

Interesting little factoid: In Ravens wins this season, Dumervil has 16 sacks and Suggs has 9. In Ravens losses, Dumervil has 1 sack and Suggs has 2.

I think it is safe to say that the pass-rush is key to the Ravens success this season.

Was anyone else slightly disappointed that Doom only got one sack yesterday? It would be so cool if a Raven set the single season sack record.
