How similar could we be to the Giants?

I know that Flacco and Eli have always had comparisons in regards to their ability to take an average season, and turn it into a monstrous post season, but could our stories be similar? Coming out of nowhere to win the Super Bowl, only to fall flat the next season and distance themselves from the elite, only to come out of nowhere to win it a few years later. I'm taking this season ONE game at a time, but if this team makes the dance, how confident should we be? Can "Playoff" Joe overcome our gruesome secondary issues? This offense is more talented and balanced than the unit that won it all in 2012, and every team in the AFC, including Denver and New England are beatable in some way. I'm not jumping to conclusions, just much more excited about a potentially Magic January if the cards fall in our favor. Just win baby!
