I am so glad that Joe and Steve Sr. redeemed themselves in a big way today after the TD drop and INT in the end zone.

Correct me if I am wrong but our secondary is clearly our weak spot, but we have Blake Bortles at home, Ryan Fitzpatrick, then Brian Hoyer at home. With Asa Jackson back, we should be ok against those guys...............right?

We should, but that's still several dangerous receivers to cover.  If those guys get time to find guys like Gordon and Nuke, it's a whole different story.

Idk Levine and Gorrer just injured. And We ran out of guys that could cover a while ago.

flacco looked like an MVP candidate today, even with the pick.

he was picking them apart on every snap. he had beautiful step-up's in the pocket, he felt the pressure and played accordingly on al but 1 snap(the near fumble in the redzone) and he executed that 2 minute drive at the end of the first half like he was tom brady. and to call the quicksnap on that 4th and 1 was brilliant, he knew miami was "calling our bluff" and knew they were sitting back and not jumping early, so he walked up to the line and snapped right away.

also that bootleg pass to smitty was a thing of beauty, its a shame kubiak is gonna be gone soon, him and joe flacco could win multiple rings together, he is just a perfect fit for the system

He sorta threw it up to Steve and the corner came down with it. To me, it looked like a slight miscommunication where Joe wanted Steve to break in, but Steve broke out. Even so, bad decision and bad throw.

i cant believe there has been zero mention of the obvious interference there. i mean i know you generally dont call PI on a jumpball, but the db was behind steve, he armbarred him while the ball was arcing and pulled steves arms towards the back of the endzone which essentially pulled him out of position to catch it.

ever since they brought back steves td @ cinci i have really had my eyes on these things, and that one was obvious to me, but it hasnt been mentioned.

Thank God Asa is back and Levine was mandatory because of a concussion. He may be good to go next week. Gorrer injury to knee worried me because he was carted off.

I'd like to rename this the official praise Dean Pees thread. At least, that's what it should be, since he deserves praise.

Something tells me he won't get it though, because that doesn't mesh with fan theory...

Guess you just missed where I already gave him props.

And I appreciate that... but I'm expecting it from literally everyone, not just one person.

Even with the sacks I'm still surprised the Dolphins didn't throw down field more early and often given our secondary issues.

Tannehill is bottom 5 in accuracy on throws over 20 yds. They try to keep his throws short-intermediate to avoid turnovers. Big reason why Wallace is such a waste for them because he never get's to run deep routes

That was a good game to watch. Awesome on both sides in the 2nd half. Every player played like a Ravens. Sign Forsett long term, he is worth keeping.

What an impressive bounce back win. Flacco had a bad pick, but was fantastic the rest of the game.

Didn't miss Haloti at all.

Aiken stepped up huge with Torrey banged up.

How about Harbaugh going for it on 4th down again? That was huge. He gets raked over the coals when his aggressiveness doesnt work, but it was the right call. Props to Harbs.

Am I the only one who cringes on every QB sneak? He's getting pretty good at it, but I just hate to watch it. Much rather play action, naked bootleg if we're calling his number.

Nah Flacco is a warrior and our O-linemen are brawlers. QB sneaks are sexy.

Why we actually won

What a bunch of morons.. did they not see how bad the Phins were against a sorry Jets team last week? Ravens were coming off a heart breaker against a playoff contender and our offense has actually been really solid lately. Without a hint of bias I felt we are a more complete team than Miami, shows what a poor grasp the talking heads really have for a lot of these teams not named the Patriots or Broncos.

I rather see QB sneaks on 4th and one for the very same reason you mentioned, he is pretty good at it. I was comfortable cause Joe is tough, QB sneaks is nothing compare to him getting knocked around when he is passing.

Congrats on your win Raven fans! See you in February?

We'll see you all on TV lol. Not going that far quite yet.

You might get it from some but I'd also like to point out that today proved that if you just let the front 7 do their job, tighten coverage just a tad, it's successful. When it was repeatedly pointed out to those of us asking for those things, we couldn't do it because every player sucked.

Just sayin'.

Pees did a great job today but he's more inconsistent than Flacco.

It isn't guaranteed we will be there either. We might be watching on TV and you guys might be playing in the super bowl.
