Who do you want to win this week, Steelers or Cincy?

25 posts in this topic

The amount of scenarios for the AFCN Champ and 2 AFC WC spots is almost endless. Yes, the task at hand is to win out, but even then we'd still need help to get in. We can all agree that a perfect week would be a Ravens, Colts, Pats, Cards, Denver win. The game that may split our fans is the Steeler-Cincy game. In a nutshell, if you think we can still take division, then Cincy needs to lose 2 of 4, starting with this week. If you've set your sights on a WC spot, than you'd want Cincy to win out against Pitt and Cle. Who do want to win this game and why?

Completely dependent upon the outcome of our own game in my opinion. If we win, then I think we want Pittsburgh to win. If we lose, I think we want Cincinnati to win, because a loss on our end makes winning the division a long shot anyway.

All things considered. I am gonna cheer for cincy.

A) I just hate the steelers that much

2) Wile not out of reach the division would take some far fetched outside help.

D) My cheering does not effect the outcome of a game so it matters not.

@ D)........so during Ravens games you don't cheer? LOL. For me, the time to be realistic has come. I don't see us getting Division so any team that threatens our WC bid, is the enemy. And the team that plays them that week gets my support. This week, I'm rooting for the Pats-Den-Cincy-Indy-Cards and of course Ravens win.

Realistic??? I don't even know what that means lol. I'm hoping ravens, steelers, pats, and browns win.

Yikes, that would keep us tied with Pitt and Cle for second place in AFCN, only 1/2 game behind Cincy for division lead, and all of us still in the AFC WC hunt...........just the thought of it still being that tight to start week 15 of a season makes me woosy!

If pittsburgh loses, they are likely out of the playoffs. I dont see a likely scenario where we could win the division, so we need to lock up the 5th or 6th seed. Go Bengals!

Call me crazy but go Cincy. There 2 wins against us were fluky at best I want another shot. At them Dalton in the playoffs is a choke artist lets get WC and beat Cincy week 1

Well of course I cheer, but that doesn't make them play any better.

The Bengals are who we want to win. The division seems pretty out of reach at this point as they are ahead of us by more than a game and hold tiebreakers over us. I'm more focused on getting that wild card now at this point.

We win out... cincy cracks under pressure after today's loss winning only one more game this season (browns)...pit wins 2 of next 4...hopefully hoyer sucks so bad that the browns have to start the rookie either way I think they "skrews the pooch" and win 1 or 2 of next 4

As i said not the most realistic and would take some luck but it's what I'm cheering for.

I seriously hate the Bengals more than I hate the Steelers. Steelers are still our #1 rival, but the Bengals team and their fans have become far more annoying the last few years

Tiebreakers is irrelevant. They have a tie in their record so we will not tie with them unless we tie a game or they tie again. (2 ties is equivalent to 1-1, so a second tie would make the tiebreaker relevant again.)

If the Steelers sweep the Bengals, that means they would win the division over the Ravens because of a better division record. That is if they tie us at the end of the season at 11-5. We have an easy schedule, but so does Pittsburgh if they sweep Cincy. Cincy's loss  today now means that they have to go to Pittsburgh and win, and I don't see that happening, but stranger things have happened.

Yeah, I'm hoping the Bengals beat the Steelers when they play next. I think the homefield advantage can be tossed aside in this division.

What???? Glad Bengals lost...I can see them losing out the rest of the way..@Cleveland, Denver and @ Pittsburgh.  Steelers have Tough road game @Atlanta, home vs KC, then home vs Bengals.

@Atlanta and home vs KC isn't easy.

I'd like to win the division and I think that CIN loses to DEN.
