Week 14 Discussion (Other Teams)

Some much success throwing to drive down the field and they run at the goal line. Unbelievable.

Especially with their offensive line issues too. Outstanding coaching by the Falcons. Just outstanding.

Well that was the worst onside kick ever.

I honestly wouldn't have even kicked it. 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning.

Well...that's why you had to attempt the kick I guess. Terrible defense.

can you believe he was coach of the year at one time?

mike has to top the bill in terms of worst decision making on field sometimes...

He has singlehandedly cost the Falcons two games this year.

Pathetic that he won CoTY over Harbaugh in 2008.

Tough loss, but ATL's passing game is really catching on as of late. And what great timing, they have Pittsburgh's weak secondary at home up next.

If you can win the steelers next week, mike can keep his coty award for next 10 years.   he'll deserve it.

I just hope the Pats stay the #1 seed because I hate the Broncos (it is an old Elway thing).

Broncos are my least fave team by far in the nfl so I hope so too. I think we can ebat packers on neutral field but rodges and mathews are a banging offensive and defensive combo.

If not, he should be stripped of it and the award shall be given to the real MVP: John Harbaugh.

Just looking back on it, 4 new coaches were hired for the 2008 Season.

John Harbaugh, Mike Smith Tony Sparano and Jim Zorn.

After this season because Smith is gone, we all know that. After this season, only Harbaugh will be the last coach standing of the class of 2008 Rookie Coaches, and oh hey the only coach to be a Super Bowl Winning Head Coach.

Assuming Julio isn't hurt severely with his hip injury (for both the steelers game and my fantasy team LOL)

Wow. Sounds very tense in New Orleans today. More than 10 players called individually into #Saints coach Sean Payton’s office for review

Remember how crazy we went when Kenny Vaccaro was dropping and getting closer to the Steelers. Then we breathed a huge sigh of relief when the Saints took him? He's now benched.

Have to hand it to the Steelers, just when we need them to lose a game - Atlanta gets hot -yet it is probably all for naught because Julio Jones is injured. Then they play the Chiefs with an injured Jamaal Charles. Then finish up with the Bengals, who are in a freefall, and lost Burfict for the season. Hopefully, someone can sneak in a win on them.

This, plus the Falcons only have 15 total sacks on the season.  Everyone knows that in order to beat Ben, you have to rough him up.  I have a feeling the Falcons D won't get any pressure on Ben and he'll carve them up if that's the case.

What's your prediction on the other AFC North teams these last three games.

PIT - @ATL, @KC, CIN        2-1,  Finishing 10-6

CIN- @CLE, DEN, @PIT      2-1,  Finishing 10-5-1

CLE- CIN, @CAR, @BAL     1-2, Finishing 8-8

I would love this scenario because if we win out we are AFC North Champs assuming you have us beating Jax and Houston. The problem is that I really don't see the Steelers losing that last game against Cincy at home. The reason is that typically when everything is on the line in week #17 the Steelers always manage to win that game and I believe that the Bengals are finishing with a win at the Browns and losses to the Broncos and to the Steelers to Finish 9-6-1. I am putting all my money on the Steelers losing to the Chiefs, but that is a big if because the Steelers are a much better team. FYI, the Steelers are not on the road at Arrowhead, they finish up their last two games at Heinz Field. Hopefully, the Chiefs find that magic they had against the Patriots and Seahawks. Go Chiefs!

I have PIT winning vs KC b/c the Chiefs aren't playing that great lately. Plus the injury to J. Charles doesn't help either.

Good catch on the PIT playing at home vs KC.

I think the Bengals lose out, the Steelers win out, and Cleveland wins two before losing to us.

Final standings

Pitt 11-5

Balt 11-5

Cleve 9-7

Cincy 8-7-1

If all that happens, it'll make the second wildcard spot an interesting race given the schedules of those in the running. Houston could still sneak in.
