As long as you block the ball, any contact to the punter is legal during the course of the block.

They blocked the punt. If he had gotten it off cleanly there would have been a penalty, but they got there in time so he's kind of like a ball carrier I guess.

We'll be rooting for them in week 16 (vs. SD) .. unfortunately, they will have likely thrown in the towel for the season. 

They might be playing for pride, motivated by being spoilers or even playing for Harbs.
