If you must start a thread instead of using one of the existing ones, at least make it clear what the thread is about. Using just a person's name as a subject is not meaningful. At least include the position and school.

Keep in mind that there are existing threads for discussion of prospects at certain positions, particularly CB and RB. Please don't start new ones. This forum is getting too difficult to follow.

Looking through here, smh lol. Looks like we would be better off with a couple of Positional Prospects threads

ex: Top WR prospects, Top Secondary (CB/S ) Prospects,

Sleepers lesser known players- could talk about players not constantly mentioned as 1st and 2nd round prospects.

Plug-in Play Prospects - players that you think would step in contribute Day 1 ( Ex. CJ Mosley, Zack Martin this season )

Looks like a lot of the individual threads are for WR prospects.

^Can't really fault that idea, but there still wouldn't be a shortage of stupid threads popping up. My best idea would be to appoint a couple of temporary mods for this particular board until draft day, but it sounds like the software won't have a bar of it (which surprised me).

I think there usually are threads for certain positions as we get closer to the draft, people still make their own threads though lol

So many threads, and it is only December.  I dread what it will be in April.

If the end comes Sunday....  I dread that....  as I believe most Mods will....  Folks will definitely need to contain themselves.  We hope that there will not be hate threads all over.

While on were this subject, if you just have to post a video, check the audio first. We have to remove post upon post for videos that contain profanity and/or vulgarity. The number one response when we do: "Oh, I didn't listen to it before I posted it." If you haven't screened it yourself, don't waste our time by posting it.

Why would someone post a video without watching it first?

They watch, but with the sound off. It's the vulgar soundtrack that's the issue.

You probably have no idea how much we hate screening those videos. Not only is it miserably time-consuming, our ears have stunned by some of the crap that has blasted out of our speakers.

Over/Under(for non gambling purposes) for the number of WR threads this year for me is 35.

I'll add +35 to that number, so I'm taking the over.

With my hypothetical, just-for-fun money. ;)

One thing I should throw out there as we get into mock draft season is that quoting long posts such as mock drafts can be a real pain for people on mobile who then have to scroll all the way through something they have already read.

Amen. Pain for people using touch devices, too.

One of my biggest pet peeves here.

there's one poster that does that all the time, even if he's the first reply

Complain, civilly, to that poster. I clean those up when I have time, but that doesn't happen a lot.

Bump for a reminder: PLEASE do not quote back long posts and/or big pictures and videos.  If you haven't figured out how to edit a quote in the software you're using, just tag the poster.

Thank you.

1) Let's start with hiring some scouts that can analyze the receiver position correctly.

2) Draft for need

3) No developmental players

4) No injury prone

5) Grab Christian McCaffrey with pick #1
