Rankings just came out and Maryland comes in at 21. Nice to us ranked again!

Wednesdays going to be tough vs 7th ranked Virginia. Especially with Dez out now.

Maryland was playing some good defense against MSU. If it wasn't for the big 3 pointers MSU was hitting early, Maryland would have won easily but I was proud how they fought to get to double OT,  then get the big win. I was impressed, because I did not want them to start off 0-1 in the Big 10.

I swear ... I grew up a UM fan and was intensely interested in them. However, I have to admit, their departure from the ACC has really dealt a serious blow to my following the team. I still live in ACC country, but not in MD, so I don't see them play anymore. I guess I need to jump that bandwagon as it appears they are doing something special. 

 

Full disclosure ... I've been raising my family in Chapel Hill. My son grew up a huge UNC fan and is now attending the University. Forgive me, but all things considered, that's become my #1 program. At least I still hate Duke above all else.
