can we just lose and start planning the draft?

Seriously - what good will making the playoffs do us? Where we'll hit real QBs?

why embarrass ourselves.

if we lose at least we get a better draft pick, have reason to get rid of some useless weight *cough pees cough* and the powers that be will have to actually realize how horrible we are.

We can lose here and still make the playoffs. But is it even worth it?

Btw if we lose next week, we would HAVE to sweep our last 3. Have to.

Of course it's worth it.... Once you're in the playoffs anything could happen, obviously. I'm sure you're aware of that, and I understand why you'd have doubt going against some other teams right now.

Not aimed at you, but I cannot stand reading the comments hoping we lose out just because things look uncertain...... Hoping we get a higher draft pick, gtho.....

We're still in this playoff hunt just as any other team. I wanna watch our Ravens play as long as possible. I say as this moment, screw the draft! Worry about that in the offseason. "You play to win the game."

Fans might be giving up but I'm certain our coaches and players aren't, thankfully.

Not confident in this game but if we win, great. If we lose, whatever.

Those who want us to tank, lol and smh.

This and especially the second bit. Still gotta root for the playoffs despite everything (who wants to spend five games out of 16 wanting your team to lose?). I'm sketchy about our secondary against Tannehill, but if we can jag the win I think we're still in with a realistic shot at making the playoffs.

I'm not rooting for us to lose out yet, but I sure as heck will if we find a way to lose to Jacksonville. Playoffs are still possible, but if so, we'll barely make it (probably #6 seed).

If we lose to Jacksonville we deserve to lose out.

get out of here. if you are hoping for us to lose out then you aren't a true fan. you NEVER hope for your team to lose out, EVER.

Fizpatrick threw 6TDS today! Oh he'll carve up our secondary for sure.

I'd actually say Ryan Fitzpatrick is a cure for an under-performing defence. Just look at what he did for the Steelers.

If we lose more than 1 of the remaining games we have no shot at the playoffs. Period. That's why you have to win these type of games. And we can't trust our defense to close anyone out.

The Dolphins have a very good defense, I don't expect us to score 33 on the road. And our secondary will probably get torched by Tannehill. And after the game Harbs will say "I like our guys."

yeah don't know why everyone thinks we have to lose out. Just lose next week and we're toast.

I disagree, we can still afford to lose next week. Tiebreaker with Miami means nothing unless do 4-1 or better, which I don't think is likely. But losing next week creates immense pressure to win out, and I don't know that we can.

lose next week and we're toast. too many conference losses. too many teams at 7-5.

It's presumptuous to project, but I have most of the 7-5 teams finishing 9-7, so if we go 10-6 the tiebreakers won't matter.

But at this point I'm not sure we beat Houston on the road so we'll probably go 9-7 too.

Wouldn't you know it, that the time when all of the analysts on the NFL Today show (Bart, Bill, Tony and Boomer) picked the Ravens to win this game...THEY LOSE!  Smh!  Now, I really see why oftentimes they don't pick the Ravens to win games of this magnitude.  Cause, when they had the chance to move on to 8-4, while both the Browns and the Steelers lost today....they don't!  Pathetic!

we talked about this before the game - how the Ravens don't show up whever they have a golden opportunity.

I knew when we left Rivers that amount of time our goose was cooked. The defense hadn't gotten off the bus all game - why would they do it for the last drive of the game?

I'm still so ticked though lol

I can't stand Pees. Really can't. He tries nothing to help these guys out at all. Bend but don't break doesn't work when all you do is break. When it's failing why not at least try something else?

I'm more concerned about our offense this game. It's going to be a very huge challenge against this defense on the road.

Our defense will probably play lights out next week and the O will lay an egg of some sort... then we'll all be back here complaining about how bad our O is haha

please dont make the playoffs. we will do nothing with these corners. nothing. making the playoffs will only hurt us. there is no legitimate chance for a superbowl. we are a team with all the right pieces but with no man cover corners. absolutely 0. all we can do is play zone and have good qbs dink and dunk us down the field. I want good draft position so we can get more young talent on both sides of the ball. This team is at best 10-6 material but a very weak 10-6. I said it after the steelers game and im gonna say it again, i dont mind tanking if we are going to lose to average teams.

i wouldnt really wash away rest of the season yet.  we are still 7-5 @hunt.  anything can happen in playoffs.  when a team like giants can win a superbowl 2x, i'd rather just try and get dumped.

7 to 8 win 'wash' or  and playoffs 'one and done'.   your draft is still going to relatively still in the mid-range.

Unfortunately I believe you're a prophet...

Hope the offense lights it up though.

I actually blame the loss on a friend of mine who is a Giants fan that went to the game today sporting his Giants gear! Lol!

I agree!  The Ravens rarely seem to show up when they have opportunities to advance.  I hate that with a passion!  As far as Pees?  I agree...to a degree!  I absolutely hate all of that "loose" coverage that he's calling cause it is not working!  Those CB's need to get in the faces of those WR's and jam the hell out of them to throw them off of their routes opposed to giving them all of that cushion to make plays like they did.  The QB sacks on Rivers were non-existent down the stretch and the A gap blitzes were getting picked up like crazy.  You have to change up with that junk is not working!

Harbs is probably telling the secondary they have the hearts of lions :eyes:

I wouldn't read too much into how diplomatic he gets at the press conferences. You don't have to be a Mike Singletary or Jim Mora for the cameras to rip into the squad in the lockerroom and in training.

Just hope he doesn't go with the "If this sets us going forward and the direction we’re going and the team we’re going to be, I’m fine with that. If this is who we are as a football team, I’m fine with that. We’ll take who we are and we’ll go a long way" delusional talk, even if he is trying to be measured.

But then again, it was in Pittsburgh. I just don't believe that he would have done that if the game was in Houston.

This is where I would love to be a fly in the locker room.

Going to be tough game but I think we win in Miami.

We should start thinking about who in our secondary can cover JJ Watt in the end zone on our trip to Houston.

Can we trade our entire secondary for Watt? Someone get the Texans on the phone.
