he's only a junior this year . he hasnt decided if he's staying or leaving early. he has some injury problems in the past also but he's still a beast

yeah he is definitely a beast. he looked a little showboatish on his first TD reception but he was beating guys all day long. I bet he is 3rd tops

he would fit right in here . i wouldnt mind having someone on offense showboating epsecially if we had something to showboat about.

Nicks is a playmaker but he is a junior and might not come out. I hope he does though because he has the all the tools to be a #1 receiver. His teammate Brooks Foster is a senior and he is pretty good too.

yeah, I think we could snag him in the 2nd or 3rd round. Hes a great player but may not get alot of respect coming out of N.C. We can address other issues with our 1st and 2nd round picks while still getting a good receiver. I still believe we are going after a FA receiver as well

i like nicks and i would love if we drafted him in the 3rd round. hes gone up against some decent Ds and still produced and he also hasnt had very consistant QB play.

I would love to take Hakeen Nicks in the second round. He is an amazing talent and I have been watching him for a long time. He just declared for the draft. Here is the link if you want to take a look. I think another WR that we should take a look at in the later rounds is Brandon Tate from UNC. He unfortunately got injured during the year but he is a great young man and was having a fantastic year. He is 6'1 195 lbs and ran a 4.45 40-time as a junior and in my opinion is even faster in a gametime environment. In the five games before he got hurt he had 16 receptions for 376 yards 3 TDs. Not to mention he had 11 rushes for 143 yards and 1 TD. Plus on 7 punt returns he had 158 yards and a TD then on kick returns he had 11 returns for 305 yards. I think he would be a great 4 or 5th round pick for us. Trust me he can stretch the field and he is going to be special because he is a playmaker.

Here is a link for Nick's decision.

yeah then we have to assess which WR we take when one or 2 are left for us to pick. We never have had luck with drafting receivers. However, I believe theres just too much talent at WR in this draft. 1st or 2nd round, theres somebody for us!

I'm not just basing what he has done off the game against WVU. I thought he would have been a great pick before that game. He has had a great season. If he has a great combine he will go late 1st or early 2nd.

Since Nicks is most likely a 2nd round pick, they should save there 2nd round pick to try drafting him with that pick. Then using their first round pick on a DE to help ngata.
