Redskins QB carousel continues.

What sucks is that Cousins beat us and now he is beaten out of a job. Meanwhile, in Baltimore, Joe Flacco attains 100 wins, breaks a playoff record and personally revives McDonalds chicken tenders.

I missed something somewhere, but wasn't Cousins kicking some major butt for the Redskins earlier this year?

He was, then he started sucking too.

The problem with starting QB who are backups is a lot of times they look good for a quarter, half, game, or a few but a lot of times their weaknesses get exposed and you see how they play when coordinators have time to make adjustments to beat them.

I think that if the RG3 experiment is truly over then we'll likely see the Redskins draft another QB next year even if McCoy plays relatively well. We've seen all we need to see from McCoy to know he's not a franchise QB.

Winston!

They'll have to trade a draft pick if they hope to get a chance at him.  Honestly, if they got Winston, he'd totally overshadow RG3 here in Skins' Country.

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for RG-Me.

So do I, honestly.  It's clear that the Redskins as a whole are a complete mess.  It's hard to pin it on one guy.  I'm not a huge RG3 fan, but I do think he'd be better if he had any sort of consistent talent in front of and around him.

The Skins entire organization seems to be a mess and it starts from the top. Seems like Snyder has a reverse Midas touch. Everything he touches turns to....Fill in the blank, rules are rules!  ;)

Me, too. Shananhan absolutely ruined that kid.

I'm glad McCoy is getting the shot. He got a pretty raw deal in Cleveland - another guy thrown back to the wolves when he was obviously injured.

I dont feel sorry for him.

He is / was too arrogant for his rookie status.

Agreed. A lot about "me, me, me" instead of "team, team, team."

Apparently he had it worked into his contract that his wife and his family ( parents ) would have complete access to the training facility. His wife would come to every practice. He was the ONLY player on the team with these perks.

This season has been a complete disaster for this guy. Honestly I'm not a huge RG3 fan, but I definitely think the situation around him is just terrible. The redskins are just a horrible organization and he needs to get out of there.

Sad part is at the time RG3 was BPA. So the Redskins really couldn't have traded up for anyone else unless Indy had kept Peyton and Washington traded up to 1 to get Luck. Looking back at that draft now, that first round with the exception of Luck, Kuechly, and Floyd is pretty lackluster. So I don't blame Washington for going up and getting RG3 but injuries just derailed him.

Seems RG3 may be the poster boy for why the rookie scale was the best thing the NFL has done in recent years. Imagine if they were stuck with him for 6 years, man that would have killed Washington.

Now let's say RG3 is kicked out of Washington. Wouldn't it be ironic if he went to the Rams?

That would be pretty bad, no matter where the Rams call home.

So let's say he does get kicked out, do they really stick with McCoy as the starter? I mean they aren't going to be in position to trade up or even get a QB in next year's draft. McCoy has done way better than RG3 and Cousins and honestly I think he fits Gruden's offensive system more than those two. So does Washington stick with McCoy?

New QB Effect - there's always a honeymoon period for these guys. How many starts has McCoy had for Washington?
