There will be many many more years for Flacco.
I almost want to cry from how beautiful this moment is.

It's like I had said from Day 1, when the draft buzz started, that Flacco was possibly worth a draft pick, and I said it'd be a personal DREAM of mine to have a UD QB on the Ravens' roster.

All I wanted was for Flacco to be, at most, a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick. Instead, he's selected in the 1st round. And through a series of circumstance, he becomes the starting QB for the Ravens, and I happen to land tickets to the season opener and Flacco's regular season debut.

And as the season progressed, he took his lumps, but surprised everyone and EARNED the right to keep his starting job.

And now, he's helped the Ravens turn their season around, from 5-11 to 11-5 and a playoff berth.

When Flacco won that first game, though, I said it was as if the stars had aligned for me all year, from draft day up to this season. And now, with the Super Bowl in Tampa, where the Ravens had won their first championship, there's the distinct possibility of the stars continuing to align for me.

Imagine that: a University of Delaware QB, becoming a Super Bowl-winning QB.

We here at UD would be even prouder than we already are. :)

He should have taken the knee. We're classier than running a play with 4 seconds left on the clock and a 20-point lead.

Why not? because it didn't matter anymore? well if that's the case why didn't the jags forfeit the game, it meant nothing to them.

There's nothing wrong with that. Let it out.

I was telling my parents today that Flacco is a breathe of fresh air for the Ravens fans.

Mangina is going to be one of the first coach firings this year. Him and Wade Philips can have a bromance during the offseason.

Could you people stop complaining? Let the young guys have a little fun. It's not like we used our first stringers out there trying to beat Jaguars into an even bigger submission like the Pats.

The Jets have to go 99 yards in 17 seconds with no timeouts. And even if they do that, they won't make the playoffs. Thank you Jets for taking New England outta of the playoffs. Even though they are without Tom Brady. They have plenty of playoff expierence.

Looks like the curse of the superbowl loser is legit.

That's my feeling, so we let some young guys get some touches. If the Jags didn't like they should have stopped it. I think we pulled back plenty that second half.

If the Jags want it ended they shouldn't call timeouts. Calling TO's = game-on.
