im less scared of Philip Rivers than i was of Drew brees.

That chargers team has to go west coast to east coast to face us in the COLD. i think we win big.

After we beat Drew Brees in his house... I don't care about his record, he's Brees. We can take Rivers in our house. Maybe we'll get some snow or some sort of winter advantage!

Actually, the long-range forecast for Sunday is quite pleasant.

no it won't be. i'm shoveling some of buffaloes snow onto a plane and plan to dump it over the stadium at some point.

This game, which national media will ignore as it's hiding at 1pm between two small teams, is a bigger game than NOLA. It's also against a better team. I know they've looked anything but great as of late, but they are one of those teams that never lets the season slip away without a tough fight. I think we'll need another one of those huge plays to go our way to take it, but I'm hoping for a big statement at home with a convincing conquest.

I'd certainly rather play against Rivers than Brees; and being at home helps a lot. If we play like we did in New Orleans today, we will win this game. The offense is starting to click again, and the defense is getting some good pressure. The major thing to improve is still the secondary, which I have faith that they will (and it will also help we don't have to play any more elite QBs the rest of the regular season). I think we win this one by 10 or so; we're a much better team at home, and I don't think the Chargers are very good. GO RAVENS!

The chargers are a good team. My bros a fan. They can pop at any second. They can play in the cold. They just got Matthews back and he rushed for 155. I watch a lot of football thanks to the nfl ticket. It will be a good game

Let's go Buccs(vs CIN), Saints(@ PIT) and Bills(vs Cle)

The Ravens, Tampa, NO and BUF will all win their games next week!  I'm calling it and putting it out in the atmosphere right now!

lol @ people saying "they are a west coast team playing on the east coast time zone" and describing how time zones work. Firstly, congratulations on understanding how the US time zones work. Secondly, they are adults, and they are professionals, them playing at 10:00/1:00 is no difference. And im sure they will fly in Friday or Saturday, not Sunday morning lol. Regardless, should be a good game!

This is one of the two "must-win" games we have left (Cleveland pending as a third), where if we lose we'd be in genuine trouble in the playoff race.

Same plan as this week: let the front seven do its thing, and hope the secondary isn't TOO big of a liability.

I'm not getting close to making a prediction for this one, as bad things seem to happen when I do, but there's no reason we can't get it done and knock the Bolts back a step.

San Diego is going to have a rough time passing the ball on us. They're whole offense is short and intermediate throws. I don't think they have a speed demon on their roster that can get behind our corners. Im not worried about their run ability as they have the worst run blocking line in football

It really is one of those old adages that isn't exactly true, at least as of late. However, the last time the Chargers played at 1pm Eastern, they lost 37-0. I hope that's a trend that continues.

The Ravens going 6-0 to end the season looks much more doable now that the Saints have been vanquished. Still, no team is a cakewalk but all are beatable.

Short passing attacks worry me the most.

Chargers, Dolphins and Browns won't be easy.  Always seem to struggle with the Chargers and Browns, and Miami is a wild card to me.  Also, I think we may struggle somewhat against the Texans defense, but luckily, Fitz is the qb.

Ever since Rivers had that MVP-like streak of 5 straight games with QB ratings over 120 (undefeated, 14 TD, 1 INT in that stretch)... he has been rather pedestrian (81.8 QB Rating, no ratings over 100, 2-3 record, 7 TD, 7 INT over the past 5 games).

He's 2-3 on the road this year overall.

So I think we have a good chance to take control of our destiny this game.

Back2Back games against teams in the playoff hunt couldn't be more exciting // nerve racking. Our chance to create some separation by knocking the competition down a notch and dashing their hopes.

Plus we made Cowherd's NFL top ten.  :229031_cheer:

The 3-4 D has given the Ravens problems this year and I expect the same considering Monroe is a dud against speed.

Ingram rotates with Freeney and Attachou look for those guys to be blasting past Monroe on pass plays.

Liuget is no joke unlike those bums from last night the dude is a mountain.

it will be a good test against a legit contender.

1. There's very little to fear from the Chargers pass rush. Not really something I'd be concerned about.

2. I think by the end of the season, we fans will be laughing at the notion that the Chargers were ever a "legit contender".

Actually we are very good at cover short to intermidiate routes it's the long ball that we can't stop. Dolphins worry me a little but they also have a short passing. I still think Wallace is going to give us a run for our money. 3 have three games at home all I expect to win. If we lose it will be to the Dolphins

The Chargers are no joke; they are legit team, but this is our home and we gonna defend with blood and souls.  We will prevail on Sunday.

Lets pound the chargers, ignite double Smith early on the game, and get after Rivers......
