Hard to fuss after a road win, but Monroe is the weak link on the OL. Pierce is garbage. Elam doesn't impress.

i agree, monroe looked like a rookie out there, pierce doesn't know how to play zone blocking scheme, give his snaps to LT, Elam always looks lost in coverage, elam plays good in the box, maybe pees needs to limit his snaps to blitzes and stopping the run.

So glad I got to experience this game in person.  It wasn't easy to track how each individual player did, but Will Hill definitely stood out along with Torrey on offense (and Forsett, of course).  Fantastic road win.  Saints fans left early and the Ravens crowd was alive all night.

Can't wait for Wired to come out this week~ it should be great!

I love the new looks of behind the bench video, Wired; it is awesome.....

That last TD to Graham, don't understand why we can't start with over/under double coverage. Gotta do something better there.

It was a garbage TD.....We were too busy to milk that clock down to zero.  The chance of winning the offside kick is very slim, so we are just playing with the clock....

Didn't notice Levine at all which probably means he played well. As others have said, Pierce and Monroe have been disappointing of late. Can't complain too much after a great team win though.

One thing about Pierce is he has no vision at all; he just can't see a creek or even a hole.  A RB without a vision is useless.....

I agree.  Colston is an elite receiver.  Gorrer did all he could against him and I don't think even with the big catches he let Colston get behind him.

This game could be a heck of a kickstart if the Ravens can harness this.

I wouldn't say Colston is an elite WR, but he's definitely underrated, that's for sure. But I agree with what you said.

Torrey looked like the scuffling and bickering lit a fire under him. We need that more often.

Big time we need that from all receivers

Saints had 10 points set up off phantom 3rd down calls and still lost LOL. Would've been in blowout territory without the refs bailing them out at every turn in the 1st half.

Will Hill is a beast. I still really miss Jimmy Smith. Saints D is garbage so I'm not getting too excited but it was a nice game from the offense. Forsett was awesome, big ups to him and the OL.

What was up with that catch on the sidelined over Gorrer? I can't believe that play stood. Should have fell under the Calvin Johnson rule.

Lot's of good things to talk about. Also, a few bad things. Elam continues to struggle in just about every facet. Monroe got beat a lot. Brooks had one of the worst plays I have seen from an NFL safety on that Colston TD. Pierce had one nice run and a load of awful after that.

On the positive end of the spectrum, Flacco was great as were the WRs. Forsett was exceptional running behind the OL who moved NO all over the place. How about that grab by Aiken?

We gave ridiculous amount of passing yards and quite a few big plays. Brees is a great QB but that's just way too much.

Run blocking was awesome again, props to Juice and Gilmore in addition to our big boys. Very good game by our front 7, Mosley missed that one tackle but played awesome. I think this was his best game so far.

Flacco very solid. Smiths were both great, Torrey is looking better every game.

I didn't know it's possible to cover Graham like Hill did. He seems like definite keeper.

Justin Forsett, take a bow! It's amazing to watch how he glides between those monsters around him.

Any chance we can keep Kubiak at least until we put another Lombardi into cupboard?

Weirdly enough  this game had the same feel as the SD game in 2012. Could only hope that the end result to the year is the same

I'm very proud of our guys tonight!  Very proud!  Flacco was a beast!  Joe made some great throws and he looked good while making them!  Great decision making I thought on some throw aways.  I loved it!  Receivers were balling!  Torrey played like a mad man possessed.  I think he got sparked by watching Dez Bryant make a catch and then finish off the drive with an aggressive TD run in the Cowboys win.  Lol!  The O-line was parting the Red Sea on those runs for Forsett!  Incredible!  Defensively?  Well, the pass rush was pissing all over Brees initially.  Hated giving up those BIG yards in the secondary and that TD before the half!  Ugh!  Smh!  But then, Will Hill's pick 6 had me screaming in my sister's living room here in New Jersey (they are Steelers fans...Lol).  And then, to watch Forsett put the nail in the coffin with that last TD run....they were all stunned!

GREAT GAME RAVENS!!

Enjoy the plane ride home and get ready for the Chargers next week.  Feels good to be a winner...huh fellas (Ravens players)?

Glad you had a great time.  I already attended the season opener against the Bengals and the Thursday night game against the Steelers.  I almost made it to the game vs. the Panthers but something came up.  And now, it is looking like I may be attending the game vs. the Chargers next week!

Go Ravens!

campanaro will help(plz stay healthy) and i think they should use pa to run some seams to juice. but in essence camp is key to unlocking the middle of the field.

Very much agreed there

I don't want to get too excited about the offence's performance, as the Saints looked pretty dreadful. But the boys done well, and you can't argue with beating whoever's in front of you (Florida State's slogan this season). Hopefully they can keep that going next week.

From here it seems like we're going to live and die off our running game, which isn't a bad time of year to be doing that. But our RBs behind Forsett are doing a whole load of nothing (gotta see more LT from here, which would at least help). The passing game was used nicely as an extension of the running game, so I hope we can keep that kind of balance going.

Defensively it looks like we'll be relying on our front seven to do all the dirty work and hope the secondary isn't TOO much of a liability every week. That'll be tough, but for a patchwork unit they were alright today.

Will Hill did a great job on Jimmy Graham. Torrey (especially) and SSS looked good. Joe looked good. Mr. Justin Forsett is other worldly though. He is a godsend.

It was a great team win, go Ravens!

Oh, btw - can OBJ catch an onside kick like Aiken can?

lol maybe, maybe not. but he can catch touchdowns like Aiken probably can't. but that Aiken recover was like textbook on how they want receivers to attack the ball in the air.

The third down percentage was very uplifting. It'll be hard for teams to beat us if they can't get the offense off the field like that.

Just a little tidbit that shouldn't be missed:

@RavensInsider: Will Hill credited practice squad tight end Konrad Reuland for his work on scout team imitating Saints tight end Jimmy Graham

A player I don't see anyone talking about, and I think he needs his very own mention, is CJ Mosley. He balled out.

He led the team in tackles, solo tackles, TFL, and had a sack. He was strong in coverage, helping to limit Graham over the middle, and just looked like a force. A lot of people were saying Mack would win DROY because he had a lot of splash plays (TFL), but CJ Mosley went out and made a ton of splash plays in prime time in enemy territory. That's how you win the award. He was a beast

Now for a few others. I'm going to try to avoid the obvious Forset post.

I'm wondering if Monroe is still having that knee bother him. A lot of the times I'm seeing him get beat, it's purely because he's not getting out wide quickly enough or the defender is so much faster off the snap, despite not being an explosive player (Harrison). He just looks slow, and given his athleticism and incredible shape, I have to think he's still injured.

Will Hill was tremendous. I know he gave up the garbage time TD on a route that Brees and Graham have almost perfected in the red zone, so I don't care about that. He continually went head to head, one on one with Graham and won. Three pass reflections and really limited Graham to short, non explosive plays.

I know no one will give Pees praise, but he deserves it. The defense as a whole played really well. They gave up a few big plays, which is where a lot of Brees's yards came from, but for the most part, that Saints' offense was held in check. Pees actually dialed up good pressure and was forcing Brees to move around quite a bit and didn't allow Brees to look down field in the second half. It's a big reason he had like 75 passing yards for the first 28 minutes of the second half. Give Pees credit. He took away the deep passes, brought heat, and forced Brees to check it down far more than he'd probably like.

I know a lot of people were hating on Elam for that touchdown, but I wasn't disappointed in his play. He didn't stand out positively or negatively. On the touchdown, it was just a great throw against a smaller defensive back to a larger receiver. Brooks needed to go attack that ball and not play hesitantly.

Finally, Webb gets torched so much. I don't understand how guys can get behind him so much. He is so slow to flip his hips and start running with the receiver. He's got great speed, as shown by him chasing players down, but he needs to get turned up field faster.

I think no one is mentioning it because we've come to expect it from him.  He had a hell of a game.

I'd like to take this time to gloat a little also because I was right about the Will Hill effect...
