The media has been hyping him up lately, but he's really not very good.

I just found out it's ron parker, he is truly horrendous, even worse than that mccourty fellow from tennesse and I thought he was bad.

Ugh it would be awful for kc to get a td. There's so much time. That would be a terrible way to lose for the raiders. Theyre so close to that W

Ridiculous. Also ridiculous is that it looks like the Broncos will not be punished too much for stinking up the joint the last couple weeks, as usual.

Well deserved Raiders. I think they have a really bright future if they can keep adding talent. Solid, young core to build around.

Chiefs fans are already saying the season is over on their forums.

Uhhhhh...guys, you're 7-4.  I think you are being a little premature here.

Go to the official Raiders Facebook page, you'd think they won the Super Bowl.

Well it made me reevaluate how good kansas are, I had forgotten how bad smith was but I had no idea they had such a bad defensive back in parker on the team too. Broncos won't screw up their division lead.

I didn't pick the Raiders but I can't say I am entirely surprised that they won, this had trap game all over it. Still great win for Oakland and it is great to see an actual good Thursday night game. I am sure Kansas City is done with the Bay area at this point though(well besides the A's)

You and these forums....again! Shouldn't expect any less!!

I know right! But good for them. I'd like to see them do well in the near future.

So happy the Raiders won.  The Chiefs were looking scary just a day ago, but now they lost to the Raiders, and they've got a really hard remaining schedule.  This helps us.

Even though Reggie McKenzie sucks as a GM, you know the saying about a blind squirrel finding a nut, well McKenzie found 2 building blocks in Carr and Mack. If Oakland could get a competent GM and build the O around Carr and the D around Mack, they could become relevant again. The Lions became relevant again, and the Browns are relevant again, so it's the Raiders turn to become relevant.

I actually root for the raiders to become relevant again though, unlike detroit and to a lessor extent cleveland. I t would be fun for them to actually have that old punishing raiders 70s defense and some real wide outs and tight ends.

It would be nice if they could actually play some meaningful games next year so Woodson could have that before he hangs it up. He's been playing his butt off there, and I've always been a huge fan of his.

I've always felt that he needed to go. And he had all of that cap space before the season started too.

Same here. I understand there would be bandwagon fans along the way, but the Black Hole would be a tougher place to play at than in recent times.
