I turned 30 on September 29.  The day before that was the last time I saw the Ravens win a football game.  September 28 against the Panthers.

Since I turned 30, I have watched exactly half of our 6 games.

Colts, Bengals, and Steelers.  All losses.

I didn't see Bucs, Falcons, or Titans.  All wins.

Flacco's stats in the 3 games I watched:

69/117, 733 Yards, 2 TD, 4 INT -> 59.0%, 6.26 Y/A, 68.8 QB Rating

vs the 3 games I didn't watch:

53/81, 733 Yards, 8 TD, 2 INT -> 65.4%, 9.05 Y/A, 116.9 QB Rating

Literally the same number of yards, but in 36 fewer passes, and with 4x as many TDs and half as many INTs.  Crazy.  I should probably never watch a game again.

Did you hear all of the remaining games were moved to Wednesday nights?     :P

I turned  30 a long long time  and here's what the old codger thinks.

If Flacco doesn't get on a roll the last 6 games,we will not make the playoffs.

I'm not sure a 10-6 record would get us in anyway with the Steelers,Browns and Bengals

all with winning records. Add in the Dolphins as well.

Time for Joe to shine .

Hmm. That's 10 TDs and 6 INTs. Wait a minute. You're a prophet callahan! We're going 10-6! OMG! OMG! OMG!

That might work as long as three of the wins come against SD, Mia and Cle. As rough as it might seem, losing against NOLA hurts us the least going forward. Still, I want this one.

The Saints offense is having an identity crisis right now, and I don't like the way their offensive line is playing. With our players being fresh now, I think the pass rush will terrorize Bree's all game.

I'm anticipating a big game from our offense, and our boy Steve Smith Sr against is former rival in a familiar Dome. This will be a nice statement win for us.

Agreed. Like I've always said, let's just win all of our home games. The two away games (at Dolphins and at Texans) will determine our playoff fate.

Good things happened on our last visit to Superdome. They will happen again.

Referring obviously to our trip there this August for preseason, right?

Definitely. Wenning was great but Tyrod and Deonte lit them up on that TD. Can't wait for more.

If Tyrod lights up the Saints again, then we really know the NFC South has issues.

I thought Joe Flacco was kneed in the head by a Saint too.

Last year was definitely a year for ending Ravens streaks. There was the bye record, the season opener, beating the Browns, making the playoffs... There's probably some more I'm forgetting.

Anyways, I'm hoping for a win, but we all know how Baltimore's recent road woes are not encouraging.

No they are not whatsoever!

I know some of you cats in here are going to try to be all serious and deep and perhaps answer with a no and who cares etc.  But has anyone else besides me thought about what Tomlin would say (since Harbaugh mentioned the Steelers loss to the Ravens after they beat the Titans) IF the Ravens lose on the national stage on Monday night?  Maaan!  The Ravens better win cause I don't want him to have nothing to say!

Oh I'm sure it will be awful! Personally I am terrified of this game because the Saints just lost two in a row at Home. They will be highly motivated. Not only that, it seems when we have a golden chance to gain ground we always come out flat. Here's to hoping we buck the trend on Monday night!

Let him talk. Talk is cheap. That's why I don't initiate trash talk. The Ravens better win....period! I want playoffs!!!!

Ain't that the truth?  I hope we come out strong and stay strong the entire game to get the win!  I can't take another let down on the national stage!  Ugh!  Smh!  We need to play BIG on the BIG stage of Monday Night Football!

Go Ravens!

The Ravens winning is the point!  They need to win to keep Tomlin quiet!  Cause there is no doubt that he and his Steelers boys will be rooting for the Ravens to mess the bed vs. the Saints on the national stage.  They better not!

Go Ravens!

In my opinion, this is a "must win". Saints are on the ropes and a good team should be able to give the knockout punch. I believe we will pack the good Joe and go get this "W". I believe it so much that I'm going to NOLA to make sure it happens.

Go Ravens!

" #Saints Brandin Cooks out for the season with a broken thumb" ... Nice not to have to prepare for an explosive threat like that, he was definitely a match-up problem for us.

I'm feeling overly optimistic for some reason. Our secondary isn't the best. lol Their corners give up big plays left and right. I think Torrey has a big day. At the very least, he'll draw some PI calls.

I think the big difference in this game is gonna be the work in the trenches. If the defensive line can get through their o line, Brees is gonna have a long day. He holds onto the ball longer than most quarterbacks which plays right into our hands.

Unfortunately, I never feel that way when it's......the Ravens + Away games + Primetime television.  That's just not a good mix for some odd reason.  Hopefully, that all changes Monday Night and I am proven very wrong!  I'd love to be!  Go Ravens!

One thing's for certain; I'm a lot less worried about the Chargers game than I was before. Still, the Saints game is practically a must-win for both teams...

And hopefully we're there to do 2 things; kick some <butt> and drink some beers. And looks like we're almost outta beer.
