I'm concerned about Kubiak's play calling .

Yes he did adjust to the Titans blitzing with some short passes but

only rolled Joe out once that I can recall .

He should have done this more frequently .

Kubiak's two tight end system without two good tight ends is a quandary

for us . What do we do here? It complicates our play calling .

Hopefully we can figure this out over the bye because we will need

to keep the ball out of Brees's hands.

If it wasn't for that one yard line fumble, the first quarter was as brutal as a quarter could be. Glad we settled down and kept getting better as the game went on. We needed this win bad.

For a guy who isn't even a corner Levine looked more sound than Webb.  Webb's legs must be totally shot because he's nowhere near WRs sometimes in coverage.  Looks real, real bad.

Webb was faster last year and hasn't receive a injury to his leg recently so it leads me to believe he probably just isn't fully healthy from his back injury yet.

Joe looked out of sorts today . I thought he might be somewhat injured but who knows with his facial expressions - All the same . Where was Smith Sr. other then dropping a key 3rd down pass ? Ngata almost had his 3rd pick . It would certainly be embarrassing If he ended up the season as the pick leader .

Joe has looked out of sorts the last 3 weeks. Here's to him figuring out blitz sight adjustments and gaining some touch on his passes. Tired of watching him overthrow folks or miss them in stride time and time again. Course when he does hit them on the money it's not like his receivers have been clutch.

I agree with you. I wonder if Harbs is less likely to criticize due to Kubes' previous HC experience and not wanting to drive him away or embarass him publicly. I can see Harbs sort of letting him do his thing and not offering much imput to maintain smooth relationships.

I don't really see anything inventive from Kubiak lately . Many people I watched the Steelers game with thought

It looked like the Cam Cameron offense.

Kubiak had decent success early this season but it seems the DC's have adjusted and he hasn't readjusted .

He was also sacked 3+ times in 3 of our four losses, and the last 3 games before this took 6 sacks and I think over 20 QB pressures. The ability of the o-line to pass and run block is making all the difference.

Yea I agree. I didn't get that specific but I said the main problem was pressure on both sides of the ball. Pressure on a QB will force interceptions.

I'm not for the finger pointing at Harbs or Kubes. Outside of injuries, this team's problem (now that it seems we've gotten over the talent evaluation issue at the safety position) is talent at the skill positions. We have a QB with elite arm talent and an average football mind. Given that fact, it doesn't matter who the OC is, we win in one of three ways:

  1. The running game is going
  2. The D/ST is scoring
  3. Flacco has one of his 1-in-4 game streaks

Until we have a skill position player that can take over a game, if one of those 3 things isn't true, we'll lose.

Flacco and Mettenberger both 16-27 1td only difference 1 pick by berger

Why would you ask Joe to do much when our defense took complete control of the game ?

You run ,run run. Which is what we did with Forsett .

Webb is done and Jimmy may be too . His injury is quite serious Many players never recover from that injury . I think we have too much money in Webb to release him next year though . Not sure . But his career looks over . Sad .

Uh what? Jimmy is done? Serious? Well, yes, it was serious enough to require surgery but it was a stretched ligament in his foot that prompted the surgery. He doesn't have the dreaded Lisfranc injury. Not sure where you got your opinion on this.

7-14 in the first half with minimal rushing yards in the first half is no good.

9-13 with a dominant run game to boot in the second half is more like it.

Still undefeated when we don't turn the ball over.

It seems our offensive line is the sole determining factor in whether or not we win or lose this year. Gave us a good half today, which is all you need against Tennessee.

why do we always let up when were beating teams? I wish our coaches had the same approach as the Broncos and the Patriots, they always rack up the points, they dont stop passing. Flacco could of had a record amount of tds against the Buccs but no the coaches had to take it easy on them.

When did they let up? At the goal line? At that point there is no sense in getting players hurt

I was expecting more from Flacco but the only thing that matters is the W. Our offense starts so slow though it gets frustrating to watch. Would also like to add that was classy of Harbaugh to kneel the ball at the end when we could have punched it in.

Oh I thought he has the Lisfranc injury . Or you sure ? I read a report that it was indeed this injury . I was really bummed when I read the report about Lisfranc.

Where did you read that? I was listening earlier to the radio to 105.7 The Fan and they had a doctor on and they were discussing his injury and stated it wasn't the dreaded Lisfranc. Where's your source? That's not sarcasm either.

I just did a quick Google search and found this article.

When it was announced guys like Schefter and Rapoport reported on twitter it wasn't the Lisfranc injury so it seems pretty legit. So thankful it isn't, that injury haunts a player (especially a CB) forever.

I am still kind of shocked from last weeks massacre of the Ravens.  I did not watch any football totally today on this Sunday.  I just think we have to much talent on this team both on offense and defense to be leading potential competitors to roll on us..

It was the classy thing to do, because the Titans had 3 time outs and did not use them. Why not take a knee instead of adding insult to injury.

It's weird that Oher did better than Wagner

Don't think we watched the same game. Wagner allowed one sack and false started once. Oher allowed 2.5 sacks.

Umm...
