Yeah, it was pretty sketchy. I think the challenge was held back because it was a judgement call, but it sure looked like a safety.

Overall good game, slow start and the Titans are nothing to write home about but I will take a comfortable win any day of the week in this league with no major injuries.

This is a landmark game for our D.  We shut them out Q 2-4 and actually intercepted a ball from a secondary player.  Ngata and Mosely account for four, J Smith one and our new guy Gorrer earns free supper with the 6th Int.    In our 10th game we get only our 6th INT.  That area should be on the practice schedule through the bye. When we play No we have to establish our O first Q and that should be the priority as NO keeps games close in the dome..

Deep Thoughts by Stampedehero .  This on coming weekend we all should have special interest in the Cincy at NO game, Texans at Browns.  The Steelers play at the Titans.   I am hoping the Saints beat Bengals and then suffer a minor injury from a major O player for our benefit.  My take is the Browns win at home and the Steelers take a close loss in Tennessee. Who would imagine the Jets could be an inspired team??  Someone send that vid to The Titans.  To see the Steelers lose after they took Indy and our guys apart is the best satisfaction of my entire weekend.  Congrats to the SF Niners team.  Rodgers joins the 2014 multiple TD club (Glad we don't play the Packers)

The safety call was a close one. Agree it should have been called, but even the Ravens were unsure enough to NOT challenge.

Substitution thing was certainly BS.

Facemasks are missed probably every game. Just happens.

i swore the Brooks hit was ruled a catch and fumble and after they got walker off the field Harbs had to throw the challenge flag.

I don't think Harbs was unsure that it was a safety everyone saw it. He was unsure if it was going to overturned. I know against a better team that red flag would have probably came out.

You're right. It was originally ruled a catch and fumble and was ruled incomplete after Harbaugh challenged.

i don't think you have any idea what happened on that play. Ruled catch and fumble. Harbs threw flag and refs changed call to incomplete.

But they have to let it play out initially and see what happens.

Refs are the easy scapegoats. Looks easy on the armchair with the purple shades on, but it's a bloody tough job they do (speaking as one who only reffed high school basketball, can't imagine how much worse it would be at the top).

A roundabout way of saying I agree.
