The Pats secondary with Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis cannot be compared to the situation here. 

 

Not to mention that in the past the Pats have had no competition in their division. We can't afford these type of injuries with the gridlock in the North. See how close we came to winning in Cincy? That's the difference a sort of injury like this makes.

Its just not the Ravens year. Too much bad juju. The FO gaffe with RR, Bengals OPI win game two, losing the opener by dropping like 10 passes, then beat on a bomb.

Then flukishly losing Pitta and Smith, two of the most important pieces on each side of the ball....on NON CONTACT plays. Dont need to be Columbo or Nostradamas too see it isnt the Ravens year.

Thats a point.  However, once your man goes down the only alternative is for the next team player to step up. The Pats do that better than any organization I have seen. Even the media raves about that NE attribute.   BTY: They just played the Broncos and also the Bengals. They also have the hot Dolphins, Lions and Packers on their plate, so the division parameters can be regarded as secondary.  I Must say that their division is not as hard core as ours.

Last season I had confidence ravens will find a way in the postseason after loses to Cle (j cambell), steelers and packers. This year not so much. IDK maybe coming off a SB season gave me hope.

We lost Ray Rice,Dennis Pitta and Jimmy Smith in the first 8 games and had numerous other starters/star caliber players miss multiple games and look gimpy all season.I hate this season.This years team had SOOO MUCH potential.I'm almost tempted to root against us and aim for a high pick in the draft.Maybe we can end the season in the top 15 in the draft and find another CJ Mosely caliber player.Hopefully it's in the secondary or a skill player on offense.I feel bad for Smitty.He's probably regretting picking us over some of the other teams that were knocking on his door.
