I do think Gorrer and Jacobs will prove to be upgrades over Fanks and Brown, I dread seeing them against Brees, Rivers, Tannenhill, and Hoyer. Without Jimmy, all wins are gonna be ugly, hard fought ones.

 

Look ,I will be shocked if we make the playoffs with the scrubs we have now in the secondary, including Webb.

 

Can we make a trade for a corner!!!!?????? We have a decent linebacker inactive every week and a draft pick .

 

If we want to salvage this season,we have to make a trade . otherwise you can put a fork in us.

Not that the cap situation is to be taken lightly, but it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. The trade deadline has passed (not that anyone would give up a good corner for anything less than a limb) and if anyone good was still out there... well he wouldn't still be out there anymore.

Flowers is gonna be a 5'9 29 year old cornerback next season, we don't want him. Harris is 5'10 and only good in the nickel. Our best option is Bryon Maxwell, the #2 corner for the seahawks, he's 6'2, can press and play can play outside. We either get him in free agency or we draft someone like PJ Williams. Torrey needs to go, along with ngata. Cutting Ngata would open up $11 million in cap space but leave $7 million in dead money.

I didn't think that injury was going to be that bad. Much as I absolutely love Jimmy, the guy is almost a guranteed Bob Sanders of the NFL. Worldly talent but no durability.
