Very unfortunate all around. Jimmy was hitting his stride and playing like a top CB in this league. Hopefully Gorrer/Jacobs or whoever can recognize this opportunity and seize it.

There was an article a few days back that asked who could the Ravens least afford to lose, Jimmy or Flacco?  Well I guess we have half of that answer now. 
 

Out of curiousity, haven't all of Jimmy's injuries been foot/ankle injuries?

Doctors re-evaluated him this morning and determined that he needed surgery.

And there's the season. As good as he is, he's almost as injury prone as Webb. We need to draft our next shutdown corner. Most likely We'll have a mid round draft pick. Dang. There's the season.

sadly i have to concur. i was pretty optimistic. and expecting he would be back by NO game. but i dont see how we can stop anyone now.  but the way we report injuries is like how bellicheck does it.

Are u kidding me?!?! Ughh. Not trying to be super negative, but our season is most likely over. I'd don't see how we can win enough games to make the playoffs with our current secondary and the teams on our schedule

Don't know if it would be a CB to begin with, we've got 7 safeties on the roster - 10 DBs overall. Throwing bodies at the problem may not solve it.

 

Just curious about it. I know Supernaw has been bobbing on and off the 53.

Supernaw would be my guess.  We only have 2 TEs and I feel that we'd sooner use Levine, Brooks, and Elam at CB than add someone else there.  It's been made quite obvious that we aren't interested in any CBs currently on the market.
