Week 10 Discussion (Other Teams)

350 posts in this topic

We are hitting the final stretch of the season, Week 10 is here meaning 7 more weeks left until Week 17 and soon enough the playoffs. Week 10 is starting off with some interesting QB news, Ryan Fitzpatrick has been benched in Houston in favor of Ryan Mallett. Lastly, the Eagles GM is starting to sour on Nick Foles as the starting QB.

Browns @ Bengals: The Browns have beaten the Bengals in the last 2 of 3 games played against one another. The Bengals look to keep a hold of first place in the toughest division in the NFL.

Chiefs @ Bills: Raise your hand if you thought this game would have Wild Card Implications. Exactly.

Steelers @ Jets: No Shazier and no Polamalu for the Steelers. Rex, if you still love us, you will pull off the upset against the Steelers.

Dolphins @ Lions: The Dolphins who are attempting to compete in the AFC East face a Lions team that has been good all year. Can the number one D shut down Tannehill and the offense?

49ers @ Saints: Kapernick couldn't score from one yard out against the Rams, what do you think will happen against the Saints in New Orleans?

Bears @ Packers: Not sure what happened to the Bears but they could play spoiler to the Packers trying to hold off the Lions for the NFC North.

Panthers @ Eagles: Monday Night brings Mark Sanchez and the Eagles against Cam Newton and the Panthers. Panthers need a win to at least keep up with the NFC South but I think the Saints pretty much have won the division at this point. Will Sanchez prove to be a system QB and a product of Chip Kelly's system?

Depressing stat I read earlier this week:  The Browns have lost 17 straight road division games.  Last win was September of 2008 against the Bengals.  Woof.

I am cautiously optimistic that they can pull this out but they have REALLY struggled with the running game since Mack went down.  They've been fortunate to play lesser teams the past three weeks and have been able to work through it but I just have to wonder if it gets exposed this week playing a better team on a shorter week.

I really hope I'm wrong though!

Time for an AFC North showdown

Can we hope for another tie in this game? Realistically a win by either team doesn't help us.

I suppose we should be rooting for the Browns to win this to keep the division close, unfortunately I have one friend who is a Browns fan who's making it very difficult for me to support them tonight.

Earlier today he asked me how it feels to be in the basement of the AFC North.  I told him at least the Browns have decorated it nicely.

I love how Dalton throws an interception and the announcer blames it on the te but when flacco does it and its the receivers fault they just talk about how inconsistent he is

We are not winning the division. I don't know why people are rooting for the Browns. You should root for the Bengals to push the Browns further down the WC chase.

Man our ravens decorations were dusty though. Been a whole since we got the stuff out to hang on the walls.

Wow, 4th & 10, slow down so the defender is forced to grab you and let a penalty get you out of a 4th & 10 that you weren't going to get. Unbelievable.
