Thank you Flacco for the ring...now go.

Id rather come in the beginning of next season with 5 undrafted Rookies as our WRs then this group....

Our Franchise LT got destroyed tonight by a 53 year old LB.

Man I cant stand this team sometimes.

You can't see how he wasn't the problem last night? No help for you.

Joe threw 1 pick, I didn't see more than 1 other could have been pick. Ben should have been picked off at least hand a dozen times, we just dropped them all

randall cobb, D.Thomas, J.Thomas, J.Maclin.  They cant all be possibly resigned.

Maclin and the thomas's will be too expensive for us.

hes sickly overpaid. We need some of that cap hes eaten up to build through the FA. He isnt good enough like tom brady or aaron rodgers to make up for our shortcomings. He needs to take a pay cut. He should too. He's been bad over the past season and half and its time he puts the team first for once. This is ridiculous money. Its funny how atheletes forget what regular people make and moan and groan if they have a 90 million dollar contract as opposed to a 120 million

this is why i hate sports..that money could be going into worthwhile things..not the flaccos bank account

Flacco isn't overpaid, you're under educated on how NFL contacts work.

Flacco had reasonable cap hit last year and this year, next year still under 20. It's a foregone conclusion that years 4-6 are for show and will be restructured into an extension. Guaranteed money is all that matters.

Also, considering inevitable salary cap rises as contacts at all positions especially quarterback continue to inflate, you add that to the mix and there's really no leg to stand on complaining about Joe's salary, as it isn't the problem.

Wow. We suck. I don't know what hurt is the most, bad draft picks or lazy players. Our secondary needs to rebuilt from the ground up. Or offense is done. Joe missed so many open receivers, and it was rare for our Receivers to even get open. We're the worst team in the division now. Bad drafting and QB play did us in.

AFC North is legit the best division in football at least in the AFC right now.

Lets go get this win against the titans next week....and move to 6-4.

On another note, we could have lost the way the niners did.... A QB fumble with seconds left in the game, for the win, on the one yard line....I don't think our $120M QB has EVER done something like that.....

We need Flacco to take a big time pay cut.

Flacco actually played well yesterday in my opinion but none of our receivers were getting open like they should. I honestly don't know what the really issue is with our offense honestly because i wasn't actually at the game but you can't expect a quarterback to be comfortable with pressure constantly in his face and for Flacco to have a solid offensive line like he has this year they shouldn't be allowing Flacco to get hit that often

We went through that same thing all last year....  we are not being rational if we cannot admit that.  We are looking for a fall guy... and some are pointing their finger in that direction.

They were ranked #1 in points allowed (TD)

actually they where #2 in points allowed behind the lions.

i think they had the #1 redzone defense.

neither comes close to having the #1 scoring defense since the only score we got on defense was a safety lol.

i said hes overpaid based on what he can do and what we can do to make his life easier. He's basically a big reason why we cant lure FA's. Here is the choice. Take a paycut so we can make life easier for you on the field or basicaly keep us mediocre while you laugh to the bank

Was you at the game on yesterday to get a clear view of what Flacco should have done ?

I can't even begin to tell you how wrong you are. I'm going to work before I respond in a way that makes the mods kick me off the board

I see now why many of Flacco's supporters on this forum don't even bother responding to people like you anymore, it's a complete waste of time.

I was. The non call on the dropped touchdown pass to Torrey says it all about the game

I'm sorry, we played awful true, but why CANT we vent about the officiating. It was awful. and it DID help aid in the loss. I hate when people say you can't blame the refs for losing. No but they damn sure helped out along with our own miscues.

Even IF we did get rid of Joe, we would never get high enough to draft a QB. This is why teams hate 8-8. No playoffs AND bad draft position. Terrible place to be. The FO is committed to Joe. We're not going ballsy and trading up to draft a QB.

Plus...it would be the dumbest idea ever to get rid of your franchise QB who is a proven winner....look around the league and see how many teams would kill to have Joe.  He did not play a great game last night, but anyone trying to hang this one on him is insane...

Refs didn't have as much to do with the Steelers putting up 46 as did the atrocious secondary pay, between busted plays and dropped interceptions

Our secondary sucked and our defense lost its composure and committed too many personal foul penalties.  Definitely can't blame this on Flacco or our offense because they were never really given a good chance to get into a good flow after that first drive..  Hopefully we can win at home against the Titans next week.

It wasn't the defense that turned the ball over TWICE inside our own 35 yard line. Why not just gift wrap two TDs instead?

Again, I agree, the secondary is awful. But the flags on 3rd down aided the steelers for those drives to be extended. They had an effect, and thats ONE of my venting points. Just because we got beat down, does not mean that we still cant throw blame on them. They were about as awful as we were

This game's officiating had the most one sided bias towards the Steelers Ive ever witnessed .

Yeah we played poorly but I was disgusted by the refs obvious bias.

First real butt-kicking this team has had this year.  Ben and those young receivers are on fire right now, no one can deny that.  We're still 5-4, with the toughest part of the schedule pretty much done.

Pretty down on the O-line, WRs, and QB as a unit right now.  They gotta find a way to get the job done.  That was a poor Steelers defense.  We continue to fail to develop top flight WRs in this organization.

Finally, I have to say I'm pretty shocked that Ozzie and Co. would leave us so vulnerable at CB that if 1 guy got injured (in this case Jimmy), that it would totally expose our secondary.  We must have the fewest CBs in the league.

Ah well, its over, turn the page.

Ozzie has had his fun but its DeCosta time. Our roster was garbage heading into the season and its biting us now.

It was always going to be tough to win this game as everything was pretty much stacked against us. That said, obvious holes in this team were glaringly apparent last night and there aren't any quick fixes(other than playing lesser opponents). The hope is that Jimmy is ready to go after the bye, as well as Camp. Others will definitely need to improve/develop to have any shot at the playoffs.

I know it's not "fashionable" to talk about zebras, but if you couldn't see the obvious bias in this game you're just ignoring it. There's no way of knowing if a fairly called game would have made a difference, but regardless, it's hard to take.
