the team just didn't play with urgency. To me, its like they didn't care. Flacco looked completely indifferent. The fights were ridiculously dumb. Suggs did not let his game speak for himself. Too many penalties. And most importantly, our secondary sucked terribly.

Our secondary sucked and our defense lost its composure and committed too many personal foul penalties.  Definitely can't blame this on Flacco or our offense because they were never really given a good chance to get into a good flow after that first drive..  Hopefully we can win at home against the Titans next week.

I like to go with the Falcons curse theory... Every team that blew out the Falcons this year has wound up getting blown out themselves in one of the next two games... That's held up to reality so far. I figure we should start winning some games now....

The refs are not the reason we lost. That performance on the field is the reason we lost. The refs didn't help, but to say they dictated the outcome is ridiculous.

There were several points taken from the Ravens via ref missed calls while several calls lead to Steeler points....Refs did dictate the outcome of this game. There were calls that were being called on the Ravens that werent being called on the steelers. Hell there were 2 push off penalties that were missed that lead to Steeler TDs. If you watched the game with commentary off, its actually pretty sad to see the NFL let this bogus stuff happen...

hard to beat the Refs and the Steelers....crap game. Crap league. Until stuff like this is taken care of, i cannot take the NFL seriously. Refs dictating the outcome of Raven games 2 weeks in a row....

I usually see this stuff as poor sportsmanship but I can't today. Refs threw the game to the Steelers all they did is pick it up. Nfl has a problem and they won't fix it because there is no profit in it. Makes me sad, just have to hope all the accountants a lawyers retire so real professionals can take their place.

I get the BPA approach and all, but having a balanced team is really important too. Not addressing that position over the offseason was just dumb. When Dominique Franks is a starter for you, you know you messed up... We should have drafted Bashaud Breeland.

We cut Franks in August and he sat out there all that time. Now, he's our starter. I usually don't chide the FO too much but the fact that the fans could see that blatant weakness and they didn't is crazy to me.

Two terrible turnovers. Hold on to the ball LT and Flacco get the ball out of bounds or take the sack, Terrible o-line play, wrs not getting open, bad defense at every level (secondary is bad and pass rush disappeared) and some other stuff I don't care to point out because we all know.

These refs controlling the game is so annoying from that last TD where he was CLEARLY short, the QB sneak on 4th & 1 where his knee was down, and the non-call on Brown where he pushed off on Webb.. Ever since the superbowl I've noticed so much shady things in this league.. ugh !

Wow. We suck. I don't know what hurt is the most, bad draft picks or lazy players. Our secondary needs to rebuilt from the ground up. Or offense is done. Joe missed so many open receivers, and it was rare for our Receivers to even get open. We're the worst team in the division now. Bad drafting and QB play did us in.

it really isn't every opportunity to make a come back was squashed by the ref team. There were two different standards at play, one for the Ravens and one for the Steelers, its impossible to win a game that way.

This game just hurt man... Normally a level headed guy but i'm mad as hell. The team looked like but cheeks from the 2nd quarter and on. And those calls just made things so much worse, I can't even see straight

Wish I felt that way, but I saw it coming and HOPED I was wrong. Have to admit I got my hopes up a bit when PIT struggled early, but as usual when the D gave O opportunities, they just blew them and then the snowball became an avalanche on both sides of the ball.

We're painfully thin in the secondary and it's showing.  The Steeler's youth movement on the offensive side of the ball - Wheaton, Bryant, Bell, Brown - just killed us today, and in the meantime it seems like every time one of the Smiths has a good game for us, the other is invisible.

I feel you but there was 53 guys getting paid to do a job and more than a few coaches in the same exact boat. I saw a few missed or bad calls but thats every game the guys on the field and on the sideline holding the clipboards are paid to not let the refs decide the game and lets face it the last 2 weeks the Ravens Mine and your  Ravens have stunk it up and not done the job at hand. If you want to take it further right now to make the playoffs we have got to hope other teams beat the Steelers, Bengals and Browns because were sitting in last place and its NO ONES FAULT BUT THE RAVENS.

We all knew we needed some wr before the season and what does the FO do? Bring in a 35 yr old wr(yes he's a beast) but he was supposed to be our number 2 guy. We have no weapons and Flacco is trying too hard and sucking. And the defense man Webb is lost and doesn't look like he's giving an effort. And we have no CBS again another position we should have drafted. Yes I'm thankful for Mosley but we had other pressing needs. Way to go ravens getting blowned out on prime time and letting Ben break a record noice!

 

I still think we're ok with our receivers... If our corners could actually play, tonight's game wouldn't have gotten so out of control... It was literally pitch and catch out there for Roethlisberger

PPG doesn't mean crap. the eye test is all i need and anyone could see our D was vulnerable even before this week. When our offense is struggling, this is what we get from the D.

Normally I am not a conspiracy guy....but when I saw Brown push Webb to the ground and make a catch right in front of the officials, I wonder if they have been instructed to make the Ravens stay out of the limelight because of the Rice thing. two games in a row against divisional opponents that Refs have made many curious calls.....makes you think

Also the front office should be ashamed. Where is the depth in the secondary? You got guys running around back there that shouldn't be on anyone's practice squad let along in your starting line up.

 

So true. None of the 20 safeties we've had taking snaps can make competent plays on a consistent basis, and the cornerback depth is disgusting as well.

please move on. Im not saying the OL was great, however its hard to win games when their secondary is allowed to grab all over our receivers while on the flip side our secondary is being called. This is the NFl though...no different than the WWE.
