There was a quote I herd or read recently about Flacco.

Some player from another team said something to the effect of. " You can never tell if Flacco is winning or getting blown out. He has the same face all the time. He cant be rattled "

Yeah that sounds cool to me.

You check his face, I'll check his play.

So to you, when Joe himself said that he was "out of his mind" on a specific play due to the constant pressure he was faced with; that statement was just him putting the heat on himself and not and indication that he can be flustered or rattled?  I don't buy that brah!  Lol!  But, oh well!  End of discussion on to the Titans!

well, not quite the end. You ignored what I said.....ALL QBs make bad plays at times. Doesn't mean they are rattled or flustered, they made a bad play!  While Flacco is a top notch QB, he is after all, a human!

Flacco is usually cool under pressure but against The Bengels and Steelers  especially against The Steelers you could tell he wasn't comfortable. Flacco was so uncomfortable at times in the pocket to the point he wasn't even throwing to receivers that were wide open. Our offensive line definitely should have did a better job pass protecting Flacco and honestly i don't care what quarterback you are if you constantly getting presured than you going to be thrown off your game but nothing is ever prefect.

I'm sure Gary Kubiak should had done a better job getting Flacco comfortable but i'm sure there were moments where Kubiak did set up some play calls that were good but failed because Flacco was uncool/pressured.Hopefully our offensive line can protect Flacco better against The Titans and their defense line is pretty good to.

He always takes the heat himself, as a good leader should. You'll never hear him throw a team mate under the bus.

its pretty hard to throw someone else under the bus for that play lol.

Also al players and coaches get media training.

thats why 99/100 times all you get is politicially correct awnsers.

there are just a few people who speak their mind or dont say anything at all lol.

This isn't a bash Joe fest brah!  It's quite simple actually.  Of course all QB's make bad plays at times BUT we are specifically speaking of our QB-Joe Flacco, and his last game and his own statements about his game that he made at his presser.  YOU said that being "flustered" and "rattled" isn't Joe's weakness.  Myself, others in here and those Ravens reporters that I quoted (that you tried to discredit) see it completely differently!  To us; he can be and oftentimes is when the pressure is on him!  And my mindset is this.....IF Joe Flacco himself....says about himself...that he was "out of his mind" on a specific play...then why is that statement....that came out of his very own mouth.....so hard for you to face and deal with?

I read that as flacco using an expression to explain his discontent with himself and how that play ended up...

I really don't see how you can look at Joe and say that he's "easily flustered".. I mean honestly

Not being a flacco homer here just saying that's how I read it coming from him

How many countless times have we seen him with the ball in his hands being asked to go get the lead back with under 2 minutes to go in the game and..... He looks exactly the same as any picture you ever seen of him off the field in everyday life.. The guy is the very definition of chill

Saying he continuously gets flustered and the defense forcing a bad throw are two totally different things

Mili, yes, he said he was out of his mind. Great. That doesn't mean that he isn't clutch and poised. He still doesn't get flustered or rattled. His poise is still his strength no matter how much you think a few rare plays like this where he's "out of his mind"  indicate he gets rattled easy.

Besides, as dizzle said, "out of his mind" doesn't necessarily he's rattled. Duh....

That's not how I or those Ravens reporters (Sandusky, Mink, Downing or Viviano) read that Dizz.  So, I just guess we're all wrong and just seeing figments of our imaginations?  Lol!  Besides, I NEVER said that Joe is "continuously" flustered or "easily" flustered.  However, to say that he's NEVER that way or that that is not his weakness as my man Tank did is completely wrong!  You guys want to keep mentioning ALL of his work in past games when that is not what this discussion is about!  It is about his LAST game vs the Steelers.

Raven, Joe's being clutch and poised isn't what we've been discussing.  We're talking about whether or not Joe was...as Tank (not me) mentioned; "flustered" or "rattled" vs. the Steelers this past Sunday.  I'm not speaking about ANY OTHER GAME besides that one!  When Joe said himself that he was "out of his mind" on that play which I know was due to the pressure; that type of statement (to me, others and the Ravens reporters; Sandusky, Mink, Garrett and Viviano etc.) tells that he was rattled, flustered and I'll even add mentally shook up to the mix.  It's not something that we want or like to hear coming from our 7th year starting QB.  And the endless excuses that you guys are coming up with for why he said what he said instead of taking the man at his own words is hilarious. As Mike Preston (in agreement with the other Ravens reporters) said in reference to this... "You can't say that!  Can you imagine Johnny Unitas coming after the game saying, "I lost my mind?"  I don't think so.  Duh...

Now...back to the Titans!!!!

GO RAVENS!!!

Yeah, dude, you're reaching and you have no interest in getting back to the Titans! When a 36 year

old "has been" linebacker who was cut by the Steelers, cut by the Bungles and retired before being

re-signed by the Steelers sacks our QB twice and forces him to hurry a throw resulting in a pic, something is wrong with more than our QB. Wouldn't you agree? Our O-line has been dominant against some

inferior teams but hasn't looked too good against better teams. Twice, Cool Joe Flacco led his team

back in the 4th quarter against the Bungles only to watch a lead evaporate because our woefully

inadequate secondary couldn't get a defensive stop when they needed it. I don't care what you think

about Joe Flacco but at least you could be objective. Joe's reputation is based on what you and

others think of him. His character is defined by what he thinks of himself and he thinks he's the

best. Whether you, Sandusky et al agree or disagree is irrelevant.

You sound a lot like B-Jack and Antonio Freeman who are about as fickle as any Bmore analysts I've

ever heard. Just imagine what Joe would look like if he was still handing the ball off to Ray Rice

and throwing it to Boldin, Pitta and Rice. If you wanna find fault with Joe, that's your prerogative but be objective, dude!

One game at a time! Beat the Titans!

This is one of the best games we could have had after the nightmare in Pittsburgh. At home against a mediocre Titans team who have a rookie QB making his first road start in the NFL. The potential for a not just a win but a big win is there and I expect us to get the job done.

Ravens win by 10+.

Technically he's right...

thats semabtics , i knew someone would say that. But at the end of the day he said flacco is flustered if pressured, then denied saying it a day or two latter.

Flustered against pitts that one game. Absolutely. The line was awful, he got hit almost every throw towards the end of the first half.

Overall throughout his career? No way. He personifies calmness. Its just factually incorrect to say he just flustered

Won't really be surprised if we lose this one unfortunately.

Until our FO does something about our secondary we're going to have a tough time winning games.  Period.  End of story.  Been saying it for weeks, yet nothing has been (and probably will be) done about it.

The annoying part is that we are so close to being a dominant football team.  Millimeters away from dominating our division and the league.  Yet with our sieve of a secondary, we're going to continue to be exposed.

Hahaha.  Definitely not giving up - but unfortunately do not have any rosary beads in my possession at this moment.

Just setting my expectations accordingly.

Jah Reid has been a major bust for a guy we traded up in the third round to acquire. He's either been hurt or not very good.

And unfortunately I suspect that the not very good is influenced by the always hurt.

As rare as they were, Reid did show flashes.
