No, we're just not fair weather fans! Faith in the TEAM.

I'm very far from being a fair weather fan there practice squad.  And whenever you reach at least 5,000 posts here in our home....then we can talk about who the real or fair weather Ravens fans are.  :P

Having 5,000 post and not being on the "practice squad" does not mean that you are a "real ravens fan", it just means you have a too much free time on your hands.  All I'm saying is there are seven games left. We're 5-4. Remember the 2012 season people. We lost to the Steelers, followed by a loss to the Redskins, fired Cameron,  and got our butts whooped the following week to the Broncos. That was a three game losing streak and the sky was falling... look what happened at the end. World champs. We were pretty bad last year and still were in the hunt to the very end. Why? Because we have a top tier franchise/organization, which is why we are a contender pretty much every year. That's why I will always be optimistic about OUR RAVENS, about MY RAVENS. We have a tough football team every year with a never give up attitude. Which is why I will always have faith and optimism in the Ravens. We always find a way to make the playoffs. Even like last year when we didn't make it, they still gave us hope until the end. They give us hope, why not show faith and optimism? They never give up and they fight to the end, even if its a bitter end. I love this team and will never give up on them. Even when we are sitting at home in January, I'm optimistic about the free agency and the draft. If you don't have that out look and attitude... what's the point of even being a fan? Play like a Raven. Cheer like a Raven fan.

GO RAVENS!!!

Really Ricky?  That was a playful statement I made with Bryden man.  Playful!  Hence, the... :P at the end of the sentence!  Don't take that too seriously man!  And that free time on my hands that you mentioned?  It's well earned and deserved.  So, don't hate...congratulate!  :D

They will not lose to the Titans at home. Their offense is awful.

So is our offense, and secondary. The Titans have a really good secondary and a good D-line. I wouldn't be shocked if we lost this.

Analyze, make adjustments and practise. On Sunday play like a Raven and beat the Titans!
Bye week gives us time to heal, rest and get ready for the Saints.

We don't know what happens to the other teams before we face them so we just gotta play with all in attitude. Some you win, some you lose. For me it's enough if the Ravens do their best with the resources they have available right now. Giving up is for losers and the Ravens ain't that. We are 5-4 and there's still 7 games to play.

The Titans are in for a hurtin' this week because we are going to take our two consecutive loses in a row out on them! It is going to be a huge win for us, 37-0.  Then, we are gonna come off of a bye and beat the Saints and we'll have Jimmy back for that game. I see us losing one more game, maybe two. I can see us going 11-5.  The last two weeks we didn't get beat... we gave them away.  Two ill advised interceptions against the Bengals, they were not routes that were jumped and "picked off", Flacco forced two stupid throws.  And against the Steelers we fumbled the ball, it was not stripped or ripped out.. he fumbled,  and the interception.. he was trying to throw it away and it got intercepted, that was just a weird play. And we keep hurting ourselves with penalties. like.. bad. All of these thing can and WILL be fixed. The one thing that I am disappointed in is that we didn't get help at cornerback. That really surprises me. We have a lot of talent at each position and really good coaches and a great head coach. We will fix these problems and make it into the playoffs. We aren't dead yet!

GO RAVENS!!!

Way to be positive!  and  you live in enemy country. I think the coaching staff has got to put recievers in position for Joe to connect.  Joe needs better tempo.  Daniels is the bright spot and Jus under utilized We play in NO so that can be a loss.  I see 10-6 as a possibility.

@Mili

I've been a fan since '96, just haven't registered until this year. So I think I'm still qualified as a fan. Fair weather fans *are* annoying, and I see it every time we lose.

Ravens need to get to 10 wins to have a chance at a wildcard spot. If they achieve that mark, it will depend on tie-breakers as to who makes it in. We are 1 of 6 teams vying for 2 spots. And if you think we still have a shot at the division, enjoy some more purple kool-aid. Losing to Pittsburgh did us no favors but we're not dead in the water yet. Right now we are, on a percentage basis, tied with SD in 10th place.

Go Ravens

The ravens Will beat up on a not so good team (maybe) and then pretend they've righted the ship. Until N.O. blow their doors off.

THIS. Harbaugh will come out like "I knew this team had it in them the whole time. We just had to put it together." How about when it counts the most.

Won't really be surprised if we lose this one unfortunately.

Until our FO does something about our secondary we're going to have a tough time winning games.  Period.  End of story.  Been saying it for weeks, yet nothing has been (and probably will be) done about it.

The annoying part is that we are so close to being a dominant football team.  Millimeters away from dominating our division and the league.  Yet with our sieve of a secondary, we're going to continue to be exposed.

Well, we just cut Brown and signed Jacobs so that is something.

Rex Ryan or Wade Phillips.

Or Will Muschamp or Dennis Allen or someone else who'll become available. We won't be lacking for choice this offseason.

Truthfully, the Ravens market is rather small to be carrying any significant number of "fair weather" fans. Are there fans that over react to a drastic loss? Sure. Then are there fans that are all "rainbow and butterfly" regardless how the team played? Sure. I would think that the large majority of Ravens fans are actual fans. Not someone who felt it was the "in" thing this year to like football so stuck a pin in a map or looked for the most rings, while not being able to name even a half dozen players on "their" new team. Certainly anyone with a lot of time on their hands that devotes much of it to a forum like this should be considered an actual fan. After all, the only requirement to being a fan is saying you are a fan.

Ravens seem like one of the least likely teams to have a lot of fair weather fans to me. They're one of the most hated teams in the eyes of the media, and are relatively new. The Ravens fans I know personally are all very loyal and die-hard, and none are from Maryland (including myself).
