Ravens Picked To Go To The Super Bowl!

Came across this on The Bleacher Report

Great to see that we're not the only ones who think highly of our Ravens!

*Here's my mid-season summary/prediction of the AFC North on the same website. I wrote the article after Week 10; fun to look back and see how things have shaped up since then!

To win the Super Bowl, we'd need to win 13 of our last 15 games, and have played in 19 straight weeks. Although I want to remain optimistic, that seems virtually impossible.

I think the Giants proved that the playoffs are what important not how many games you win in a row. Only the next couple games count now.

Doesn't bother me any...our boys don't think like that, they have the one game at a time mentality....they know that what happened in 13 of the past 15 games has absolutely nothing to do with our game @ Jax this week, or any other game after that.
Besides, most people thought our chances of making the playoffs this year was virtually impossible; now they're forced to "shift the goalposts" and say we can't make the SB, since we already did the virtually impossible of making the playoffs.

I know what you're saying, but I think we're just as good as any other team in the league. And the playoffs are all about momentum...after a huge win against Dallas and presumably Jax as well, we'll certainly have the momentum going the right way for us.

How about we focus on Jacksonville for starters? Then we can focus on the Jets, Dolphins, or Pats... then we can focus on the Titans.... then we can focus on the Squealers or Colts... THEN maybe we can talk about the SB.

Let's look at the bright side. At least we won't have to go into New England to face Tom Brady this year in the playoffs and Indy has to play on the road in the cold. So the door is open for anyteam in the dance.

??
Not sure what you mean...our team has to focus on this week yes, since they are the ones playing the game; we're mere fans speculating at the possibilities.

or we could leave all of that up to the players on the field. As fans an imagination makes things interesting, albeit not probable.

I gotta agree... having our bye in week 2 sucked eggs.

Understood, but let's at least get IN the playoffs first, because if the Dolphins and New England win and we lose, we are OUT!

Let's not forget... Flacco has struggled at Home this season and the Jags have nothing to lose. This is the definition of a "trap game"

I, for one, believe we can blow them out, but let's not count our chickens just yet, guys and gals.

Well, yeah. The NFL calls it a "bye". Texans and Ravens fans called it something else... something that would trigger profanity filters on the forums.

Weezy looks like he likes the Ravens to win the Super Bowl and he doesn't like the Steelers. I may not like his music but sure do like his opinion on sports.

NO Lil Wayne picked the Ravens because he must have heard our infamous song "Got D" which was set to HIS beats. Most people know what I'm talking about here, I'm glad I picked his beats for the Ravens and I'm glad he picked the Ravens overall. Lil Weezy is the man haha

Hahaha "Steelers fans wanna know why you don't like the Steelers?"

"Because I don't haha. I don't like how they play, I don't like their game. I just don't like 'em!"

CAN WE MAKE LIL WAYNE AN HONORARY RAVEN NOW?

lol, he's still an idiot though. I like the fact he dislikes the Steelers but his reasoning for it is flat out dumb.

By the power vested in me, and all of us, I hereby declare Lil' Wayne AKA Dwayne Carter, an honorary Raven.

Impossible would've been even getting to the playoffs with a rookie head coach and a rookie QB.
