Week 9 - Baltimore Ravens (5-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)

Because no one is open...

I think too often people are quick to say nobody is open. Our Wrs don't run the best routes so no they aren't wide open. But QBs get subtle pockets to throw to and sometimes they have to lead WRs with passes that put them in successful positions. WRs don't need to be open to throw to. Sometimes read the defense and take what they give you. Stop waiting for routes to develop down field. Throw with anticipation.

( I'm sure improved route running and anticipation could improve In the offseason but out guys don't get together like that )

The Ravens NEVER seem to match a team's sense of urgency UNTIL they are behind in scores and with little time remaining in games!

Sometimes the Joe -hate is too much to bear.

Yep. OL has been trash but he's had happy feet all night.

Hard to blame him with some of the shots he's took.... Monroe just decided not to show up

The problem is that before Cincinnati and the Browns won today, it wasn't a problem potentially losing this one. With them winning, it becomes an issue with how tight this division has been.

We also still have to play the Browns, who have to play the Bengals twice, so still a long ways to go.

Refs doing their best to cover their trails with late flags that dont mean anything....3 mins left in the game. again, these are slaps to the face. Where was this when it actually truly mattered?

You're angry and I get that, I am too.  You also have much more sense than this.  You know how you overcome bad officiating?  Being the better team.  The Ravens definitely weren't the better team tonight....not even close.

The Steelers have played better than the Ravens for 3 quarters. There's no question, but a lot of the Ravens problems are also related to very poor officiating. These referees were horrible this game. It doesn't excuse Monroe for letting Harrison go unblocked. That's ridiculous, and it doesn't excuse a bunch of other mistakes. It was a bad game from everyone but probably Matt Elam and a  few others. This has been a bad game and it has not been fairly officiated and it got out of hand. The Ravens are now frustrated and are not playing well.

Torrey drop again shocker

He didn't drop it, he caught it. I'm not even sure what the refs saw. Torrey caught it.
