Cover 2 zone, Franks played the sticks, Dalton scrambles. That is not on Pees, that is on Brooks entirely.

And who had us in zone with no QB pressure and our defenders playing 10-15 yds off their man for nearly the entire game? Well, at least as soon as Jimmy went down.

You do not win close games that way. You do not win but burying your head in the sand and hoping for the best. Yep, it could all go bad if we're aggressive - but at least we would have tried.

We lost the game  once Brooks allow that 50 yard catch by Sanu in my opinion. I blame Pees alot more .

However, we had three more quarters. In this circumstance Pees had to adjust and he messed up.  Agree with you bro.

I predicted Sanu would be "the guy" and he delivers 125 on 5!!  I knew he would be the steal of the draft as I saw his work in the Rutgers games..

Tired of seeing all the where was Will hill comments

Will hill only played 12 because we had Elam covering possible screen game.. He's our best safety at sniffing out breaking up a screen

Basically hoping to neutralize gio from getting in space on outside

Obviously Cincy was ready for that especially when Jimmy went down and we had gaping holes on the back end

That call was correct. Steve Smith threw the guy to the ground. Flop or not, its offensive PI.

If the shoe was on the other foot you all would have been saying it was clear PI.

Stop blaming this on the refs. This loss is on Joe for his horrendous throws, the receivers for not getting open at all during the game, the defense for their horrendous coverage, and the special teams for being a sieve.

You guys sound like Steelers fans sitting around blaming the refs. Its embarrassing.

I agree

I followed the Ravens from Cleveland.  Wasn't sure if the Browns would get another team.

I'm starting to second guess myself.

Regardless of this game and the calls, I have to admit that John Harbaugh AND his brother, are, without a doubt, the biggest cry baby coaches in the league.

I've rarely seen a call that goes against the Ravens that John isn't crying like a little girl!

Plus, outside of Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Thugs, I'm not so sure John wouldn't give up his marriage and family to win a football game, like Jimmy Johnson did with the Cowboys!

Getting a little sick of it!!

Nice try/cover story- no one is buying that you "followed" The Ravens from cleveland (as a Browns fan) to baltimore

Man...I just watched the "Wired" episode from this game and am sick to my stomach again!  We had so many chances to win that game and both sides fell short.  Watch the SSS pass play from that angle and it shows that ref had no reason to be throwing that flag - he was screened and just threw it when the defender flopped - total SCREW JOB!

UGGG...now I am agitated again....may be time for a cold one this evening!

GO RAVENS!!!!  BEAT THEM BUMBLE BEES!!!!

Ridiculous, why are they going to call that on Steve Smith but not Antonio Brown shoved that Bucs defender in a more blatant play! Also, what is with the play calling and coverage?! Why are they not running it down Cincinnati throats? How can we play actions when the run game isn't working?! Cincy was bad against the run, and yet, pass, pass, pass, pass!  :229031_rant:

UGH! Also, What the heck? is wrong with these REFS?! I don't usually complain when it comes to refs because they have a hard job but goodness officiating was terrible this game! :deadhorse:

Whatever, Pitt is up next and BALTIMORE WILL GET THAT W! :tmnt:

We just go outclassed, the Bengals are a better team than us.

They might have outplayed us, but the Bengals are not a classy organization by any means.

But then again...they are helping out Devon Still with his daughter.

Pierce, Elam, Smith (Daryl, AND Torrey), trade them. We need a WR other than Steve and Camp who isn't a complete wussy. These Wideouts are soft, Joe was actually buying time in the first half and nobody got open for him. We need a corner and we need one badly. this Rotating safety garbage is stupid.

Only if we nabbed Brandon flowers....

I hate living in Cincinnati and losing to the Bengals. I just mentioned the Panthers/Saints were playing for the division lead with 3-4 record.

A friend(bengals fan) responded and said I remember when the Bengals played the Ravens for the division lead twice this year.

I responded. I remember when Dalton won a playoff game. Wait...

Then he said our wins were tainted by abuse and murder. Why is that always brought up?

I fail to see how (in the Flacco era) that our wins are tainted by Lewis (14 years ago) and Rice (AFTER the playoff wins/super bowl)

Anyway. Off topic, but that same old comment irks me.

Like the Bengals have always fielded a group of saints themselves...

You could throw in the fact that they wouldn't have Marvin Lewis if it weren't for us and the fact that the recent success from the Bengals comes from using our strategy. Plus Bengal fans have no room to talk when it comes to arrests, they are still the gold standard in that department.

I just finished it by saying if anyone knows a thing or two about professionals committing crimes, it would be Bengals fans.

I could just point him to their 2006 roster, I think it was.

Regardless, I hate to throw jabs, but they have no room to talk about anything, ever. Every time you mention the Ravens success, you hear MURDER. Annoys the crap out of me.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Bengals are talented, but I can't stand the fans that surround me, living here. They talk a lot when they're winning, but when things go south, they're done with football. Cincinnati isn't a football town. When your team has to give away playoff tickets, that says something.

I was at the game Sunday and when the Ravens scored to go up 1, with six minutes left, Bengals fans started to file out. But that's my rant. Off topic, but geez, they kill me around here. lol

To the Bengals fans that read this, it's not ALL of you, but the ones that interact with me are annoying as hell. I think they troll me on purpose, but still.

Their team is definitely talented, but I still can't stand them. Only the Steelers and Patriots are teams I dislike more.

He is probably STILL back being held from that fourth and goal play

I guess they could commit 3 #penalties compared to Steve actually throwing  down the defender in our opening game. . This last  game was morose entertainment.

Both games from Cinci were a toss up and could have went either way. Our losses have been close in Raven fashion but we need to beat these teams that are talented.
