Official Vent thread vs Bengals

Dean Pees should be fired. The big plays given up so far this season plus today is unacceptable!

cincinatti is a despicable city and we should not be losing to the read head they ahve for a QB

The Defense needs a minor overhaul and I don't think Pees is the right man for the job!

Rex Ryan is more tenancious and he will bring the defense back to the way it was in the early 2000s.

It's proven that Joe can not take this team on his shoulders and bringing Rex Ryan back will make us an elite team.

Think about it, under Rex Ryan we have not given up that many big plays are we are doing now. So please Ozzie be on the lookout for Rex Ryan if he gets released. The Ravens need him Badly!

It's not their call.

Are you sure? Because nothing is Dean Pees fault around here - it's always "the players".

The Ravens had the  opportunity to take complete control of the  AFC North but instead,  they bow down to a much lesser team the Bengals and go 0-2 vs for the  season! Let's talk about it before I get suspended!

We are the ONLY team that gets that play called back. No other team has that play called back!

Absolutely. That call was UNBELIEVABLE!!!

I feel robbed. I jumped up, yelled like a primal caveman when Steve scored that TD. To have it called back just put me in an even bigger uproar. I'm still trying to recover.

Flopping to draw a flag on a game winning touchdown is cheating plain and simple.

yeah secondary played bad, and we gave up some big plays.

front seven played well

The Ravens just can't seem to beat the Bengals anymore and they have no fear of the Ravens as before.  It's as simple as that!  Smh!

@Mili

We can beat the Bengals. We just need a new DC. One who isn't afraid.

A PI call like that is rarely called with 30 seconds left in the game. They both could have been flagged for PI. Similar to the Crabtree - Jimmy Smith pushing and shoving in the Super Bowl.

Sorry but the refs screwed up bad!!!!!

That call was correct.  Steve Smith threw the guy to the ground.  Flop or not, its offensive PI.

If the shoe was on the other foot you all would have been saying it was clear PI.

Stop blaming this on the refs.  This loss is on Joe for his horrendous throws, the receivers for not getting open at all during the game, the defense for their horrendous coverage, and the special teams for being a sieve.

You guys sound like Steelers fans sitting around blaming the refs.  Its embarrassing.

Bengals are now temporarily above the Steelers in how much hate is flowing through me for them right now.

Dean Pees proves once again he has no business coaching at any position in the NFL.  His game plan was to play the exact same way we played against them last time.  Everyone 10-15 yards off their receivers, for 7-10 yard gains every time.  This coming off of playing press the last 2 games and having great defensive performances.  Garbage.

dude he had two active corners. what is he supposed to do in that situation?

We haven't beaten a good team all season, this shouldn't be a surprise to you people. We knew we were just an average team.

We've only played the Bengals and the Colts so stop crying. We beat the Steelers and Browns whom are still competitive football teams. Look at the rest of our schedule and you can see that we don't have that many "good" teams left to play against but still somewhat competitive.

It happens.  Pick up the pieces and focus on Pitt next week.  Blame it on the refs, Flacco, whoever.  All that matters is that the team as a whole made plenty of mistakes and in the end, we lost.

Didn't see the pick 6 cuz work called. But - only one other throw was on Joe & that was the desperation one to the flat. Smith Sr gave up on a route. Torrey got taken out of a route. Aiken dropped a TD he should have had.

Plus questionable play calling on 2nd & 2 and 3rd & 2 of two bombs. With Torrey off the field even. Not smart.

Jacoby jones needs to just be completely benched next week. All those returns not reaching the 20. Then muff the ball when we need a solid return. USELESS....

Torrey smith well after 4 years if this is the best he has on a contract year. Perhaps we should trade him before Tuesday. This guy had 0 catches today. Gave up ( injuries) on critical INT. Another game with 1 catch. It's ridiculous.

Defense secondary as always bordeline pathetic. Tackling shouldn't be an issue when we have 20 safeties that can't civer or catch. You would think Elam and Stewart can tackle but they missed so many Sanu and Tate tackles.

Pretty much.  This loss is completely on the Ravens and their coaches.  Just like the first game.

I do agree that IF the ref calls it. He calls it on both men, rather than penalizing just us with 3 and 20.

Why, so we can blitz every down and watch guys like Franks (and even Webb who was trying to jam guys at the line) completely get burned with no chance to make a play on the ball?  Okay.

This game proved how valuable Jimmy Smith is. AJ Green not in the game and our secondary still gets embarassed. Just terrible.

Nobody played well. Not one player on our team had a good day. Flacco will get, and deserves, a lot of blame for bad play, but it isn't like he cost us when everyone else was balling. Nobody else was. This was terrible, and we still only lost by three? The Bengals stink, too.

Ngata had a few good plays, but this was definitely the worst I've seen our D-line play this year. Daryl Smith had some decent play in there, I guess.

Feel free to keep your purple shades on.  He grabbed the guy around his pads and pushed him back.

I don't care if he falls or not, thats offensive PI.

Bengals are much more of a threat to us at this point. When is the last time the Steelers swept us?

BS call....big flop.

But we deserve the loss. Another game where we play like crap for 3 quarters. We dont deserve it.

Flacco cant keep doing this.

actually the replayed showed that his fingers only grazed the front of his jersey, he did not throw the player to the ground.
