Mighty nice of you. We'll be glad to stop by. Secondary or not, best rivalry in football still.   ;)

Looking forward to watch two great football teams battle it out Sunday night. Like both these teams and wish the Pack could have the physical defenses both the Ravens and Steelers have.

yeah right, I'm sure you will!

Believe it or not, both of my parents are Pennsyltuckians and growing up I spent a lot of holidays in pburgh. Actually used to walk across the bridge to Three Rivers for Pirates games from my grandmothers' house on Allegheny Ave. Great town, better people. The football team just sucks!  lol

Dear moderator, the post you deleted does not mean what you probably thought it meant. The quote on the doormat I posted is Pittsburghese. It is a good-natured, tongue in cheek way to say some one is a goof ball or a jerk. It has no sexual overtones.

Our only hope is that our Defense can get Turnovers in between giving up huge chunks of yards.

Where do you guys play the Saints? At home or away? We got our tails kicked. Still reeling from that one. Happy were on a bye. Anyways back to the topic. If you guys play something Green Bay doesn't know how to play and that is defense you will be in this game against Pittsburgh. Heinz field is always a tough place to play.

We play at the Saints. Not to worry, you won't miss it...it's MNF after all.

Dear poster: we do not allow non-football pictures, gifs, etc., in football threads.

I wonder how this thread would read if Pitts-burgh didnt have that ONE really good game....

See, that's just it!  For me, it is not about what the Steelers "did" last week vs. the Colts but it's more about what the Ravens "DIDN'T DO" last week against the Bengals (for a 2nd time this season).  Their gameplay has me at the point where I am no longer in the predict this or that score or the Ravens will win this or that game business!  Now, I just hope for a "W" from week to week cause at the end of the day; in my eyes...the Ravens are what they put on the field from game to game!  Which oftentimes, is too much of a tale of two teams for my liking!

That will be a tough game. The saints are unbeatable there as we found out. I hope you guys win.

We play Saints in Flacco's house. Superdome.

Well let's see, The Orioles swept the Tigers only to be swept by the Royals. Let's do the opposite, swept by the Bengals to sweep the Steelers the next week.

I see it being a shoot out, we just have to avoid OT. Win it in 60 minutes.

I hope the majority of Steeler fans go to Primanti's and get sick so they can spend more time at the urinals.  Ate there before a Pirates-Rockies game   on a road trip to Canton.  I heard more announcer but saw way less on field action. (PNC Field is great along with fireworks)  :268213:

Probably the same since we just lost, you know, Jimmy Smith. It's not like we lost Chykie Brown. We lost Jimmy Smith. The only other guys we could not afford to lose outside of him is Flacco and Smith Sr.

It's not like the Steelers have scrubs at WR.

this game will be closer than what people think, its gonna be 20-23/24-27 type game, with flacco thrown winning TD to SSS with 32 seconds in the game, it seems like flacco likes to throw winning TDs with 32 seconds left.

I wouldn't say that!

Oftentimes, he has no choice but to do so cause for the most part; the Ravens offense is playing catch up due to their failure to capitalize on their opportunities to put up TD's earlier in the game!  Then of course, there are the defensive meltdowns that give our opponents the lead.  So, Joe has no choice but to "attempt" throwing game winning TD's.  I actually hate that it comes down to that to be honest!  I want to see our Ravens dominate a game from beginning to the end!  But, that's just me and my expectations!

Exactly! I don't care about a close game for the ratings. I want a blowout to the point where I'll either turn my TV off and do something else or change the channel to ESPN to hear them talk about how they lost instead of how we won. That to me is the most satisfying part of a Ravens victory.

I'm very confident. I'm confident a game will be played Sunday night and that there will be a winner. There will be no tie.
