I still give us a good chance as long as we don't turn the ball over.  We need to possess the ball and run it down their throats.  Also hit Ben at every opportunity.  Easier said than done obviously.

Harbs needs to take the points this game. Kick the FG on 4th and 1. Let tucker win us a game. Hey we could've stole the game in OT if we kick the FG.....

In this instance going on 4th&goal didn't matter - we stopped their drive and banked 3 on FG after that anyway. Well, it did matter - we lost 4 pts by not making it a TD. I'm all for doing it every time early in the game.

To my point, hindsight is 20/20 but We have to let Tucker win us some games.

We lost by 3 points... not kicking the FG on 4th and Goal cost us a chance at going into OT. It doesn't matter that it was in the 1st quarter.

Not necessarily true. If we kick the FG there, it doesn't guarantee that we get a FG on the next drive, which started at about the 50 yard line since we forced them to punt from their own end zone.

And like I said earlier... fans will have a very difficult time naming ONE NFL head coach that doesn't go for it on 4th and goal from inside the 1.

Yeah, its smart to go for it under pretty much every circumstance.

The point here is that when you don't convert, you have a fair chance of a short field on your next drive, which is exactly what happened in Bengals game and we still scored 3.

The problem with this thinking is... can you name a single time in recent memory where the Ravens lost to a team and fans actually thought that the team that beat us was actually better than us?

We are Ravens fans on a Ravens fan board. The very, very, very first thing that happens every single time we lose to somebody is point fingers internally. Its ALWAYS our fault ("we gave that game away") in 100% of the losses this team takes in every single season all of the time.

No reasonable person, at this very moment, can claim that the Ravens are a better football team than the Bengals. If you actually believe that, then your justification of it is based on a large amount of "ifs" and "buts". If this injury doesn't happen, if this flag wasn't thrown, etc.

They beat us in our building, and they beat us in their building. I don't need any more information than that.

I agree!  I mentioned this a few times yesterday that the Bengals have beaten the Ravens the last 3x that they met.

It's official ELAM is the worst cover safety in the NFL. PFF backs my claim lol

Oh gosh....I hope Will Hill gets more snaps. I don't see why not.

Hate how this has turned into pretty much a must win. Our boys better be ready to play Sunday night.

It's particularly nervewracking because these teams usually split their wins which would mean that Baltimore ought to lose...

But, of course, we usually split with Cincy too.

lol we beat the bucs and falcons and were the greatest. we lose to the bengals and now we're not gonna win another game ? we'll be fine. I don't like what happened last game but we need to keep a positive outlook.

Both the Buccs and Falcons were already pretty bad teams. I like that we dominated them but we haven't shown that we can beat the goods teams yet. I don't think our wins mean much until we do. The Steelers so far have look like a good team so hopefully we can win.

Why have the Steelers looked like a good team so far?

They step up their game alot in my opinon and I don't think they are the same team. I could be wrong but I don't think we should think this is the same team we played weeks ago at our home stadium.

That's the way I'm trying to think of it as well

Neither do I. But then again, I don't think the Steelers team that beat the Colts is the exact team we are facing either.

Its a week to week, overreactionary league. The reason we are sitting here claiming Steelers are a good team is because the last thing we remember is them scoring 50 on the Colts.

That ignores the fact that for literally one month prior, they played like a below average football team on the football field.

We're going to need a big game from Webby because I have a feeling he should be following Antonio around for most of the game. This is a time where Webby needs to prove why he gets paid the Big $$.

Like the old saying goes, you're only as good as your last performance.

The 24 pts in 4 minutes vs Houston 2 weeks ago and the 50 they hung on the Colts says a lot.

Just like the Ravens offense was clicking vs the Bucs and Falcons, they're clicking right now.

Only time will tell.  That beind said, I dont' think this will be an easy win for either team.  Hopefully, we'll

come out on top.

I actually agree with you…Steeler fans are not sure who these guys are yet. Eight games in and there is still no clear identity. We were... bad, really, really bad 2 weeks ago against the Brownies…a team we never (ok almost never) lose too.  However, the same could be said of the Ravens…who are you guys? There is an outside chance that these two teams could actually have an offensive shootout. Either way, I have no idea which team will show up on either side of the ball.

AND they got thumped by the lowly Browns and squandered a massive lead against the hapless Bucs..I dont see a front for the squeelers like they once had and without Hampton they give up chunks of yards in the run game...The Ravens run game is legit and unless they get cute and try this air Sacco thing again then they should dominate both sides of the ball...

Will Hill needs to play a lot this week. The entire secondary needs to step up maybe we can put an illegal hit on Brown like they did to Torrey but I'm sure we will get flagged.
