I hear ya! To be totally honest, I don't feel comfortable about this game at all. I just don't know which Steelers team will show up…and we have to wait until Sunday night!

I don't know what Ravens team will show up either.

Anyone have stats on where our secondary ranks?

22nd in Passing Yards per game (256)

16th in Yards per Attempt (7.3)

12th in Opponent Passer Rating (87.0)

1st in Opponent Passing TDs. (7)

That's all with Jimmy though (besides last week of course)

I've got a distinct feeling Jacoby is going to return a kick tomorrow night ... He is due and loves Heinz field.

Not with the speed he is showing . I don't see any explosiveness at all from Jacoby .

He looks slow( compared to his former self) coming out of the end zone.

I don't think I'm alone in seeing this .

No your not alone in seeing it. We've all seen he doesn't seem to have that explosiveness. Still though, he's capable of a kick return this Sunday night .... I just have the feeling (maybe hope lol) that we may see one from him.

Two words...  WILL HILL

That guy better be Back there playing tonight....

Heard that. I'd like Brooks to play more of the CB position this game and by the flow of the game decide who gets mor snaps(Elam or Stewart) at SS. Leave Hill at FS for every snap.

The game is a City of Pittsburgh fest, the first game is still in their head and it is the prime weekend game. They are going to be potent. I'm sending my good karma out there, landing it in Heinz field for a  23-20 Ravens win.

I still don't think we win without Jimmy. Antonio Brown might be the best receiver right now and he will have a field day.

yeah..the closer it gets to the game..i just feel ben will be able to get the ball out wayyy to quick as he knows his is one of the worst secondaries in the league. unless webb resurrects his 2011 self he isnt going to stop antonio brown

He has been getting better every game imo, so we need a huge game from him to really have a shot. Considering how hard Ben is to bring down, that could nullify SOME of our pass rush and exposing our corners....I am nervous.

That said if we get the awesome Joe Flacco I feel bad for their defense as well.

Chargers getting blown out by phins.

Bengals, despite what score says, have struggled against Jacksonville.

I could go on and on about different bizarre scenarios this week and prior.

Point is, all that matters in making playoffs, regular season is unpredictable. The best teams and quarterbacks have all struggled inexplicably at times this year.

We've lost two to a very good divisional opponent we lose to a lot.

We lost one to a Colts team that for multiple reasons are almost like a divisional opponent.

We aren't the best team, but easily playoff caliber, and once we make it too the postseason I always like our chances.

Too much made from loss last week.

We have a lot of injuries, major chance we lose today too. And if we do, too much will be made of that and people will freak out.

Anyways, with that said, I think we win 21-20, last minute touchdown to Torrey

Ben's always been one of the best at extending a play and that does not bode well for our secondary. Going to need a really good scheme (Coach Pees) and some big time Flacco action. This game could be shaping up as a big time shoot out. Then again, Ravens vs. Steelers. Don't blink! Go Ravens!

Hey all, get your threads straight. This one is Ravens @ Steelers. Take the other games discussion to the other games thread.

Thanks.

I think we get the win here tonight and hopefully this brings some consistency to the team. Could be one of the best games of the season with the way these two teams have been playing recently.

Maybe not....  Come on...  He can have a bad day just like the rest of us.

Brown has never done much against us except that playoff game in 2010. But without Jimmy, I have no confidence in anyone else to cover him.

Absolutely agree. It has been quite awhile since Pitt has beaten us by double-digits what with our injuries and their momentum this sets up for them nicely. Just hoping our front 7 disrupts Ben early and often to get in his head, or else it will be a very long game.

Well it looks like whoever loses tonight is in 4th place of the AFC North. Now I really don't want to lose...

Hopefully the Ravens feel the same way.

Even if they lose this match, they'll probably have a fire lit under them for the next several weeks and maybe they'll take some games that a lot of people expect them to lose like the San Diego game or something.

I expect us to be no worse than 7-5 after we play San Diego.

My thinking is that even if we lose tonight's game, 10-6 is still very achievable. Winning tonight would be huge since we'd sweep a division rival; the important thing is to make sure they don't win by more than 19 to keep the tiebreaker if we have to lose. After tonight, I think we beat at least the Titans, Chargers, Jaguars, Texans, and Browns. The Saints and Dolphins games are tougher, but also winnable. We need to gain focus and win as much as possible; a loss tonight wouldn't totally eliminate us, but it would make things harder down the road.

Bengals won, Browns just won, we normally split with Pittsburg, expect us to be in last place by the time the nights over.
