Some buddies and I have been talking for some time about coming up for a game.

It is a fun environment with a lot of cool NFL history to see. But if you wear your Ravens gear, you will put up with crap…especially from the drunks.

That is very true, but generally its harmless fun. 2 years ago I went to the Sunday Nighter in the Burgh decked out in Ravens gear, not to mention the fact people think I look like Flacco. I got ribbed pretty good but it was a nice time and a great city. Not to mention the tailgate is top notch ;)

Im interested to see how Anthony Levine preforms on sunday if we really ask him to play cornerback. He did look decent in season and held up well against Desean Jackson

I wouldn't say that!

Oftentimes, he has no choice but to do so cause for the most part; the Ravens offense is playing catch up due to their failure to capitalize on their opportunities to put up TD's earlier in the game!  Then of course, there are the defensive meltdowns that give our opponents the lead.  So, Joe has no choice but to "attempt" throwing game winning TD's.  I actually hate that it comes down to that to be honest!  I want to see our Ravens dominate a game from beginning to the end!  But, that's just me and my expectations!

@Mili

I would love for us to go in there and dominate them on their own turf like we did here at the Bank. Don't think we've ever done that at the Ketchup field.

Why are people being so pessimistic about this game? I must be the only one who isn't scared of this Pittsburgh team. They got a fluke win over the Colts last week and now everyone thinks the Steelers are the best team in the NFL and not giving us a shot in this one. We are a much better team than the Steelers (who are without their top corner) and I believe that we will win this game.

That Arizona sun getting too you? Both the Ravens and Steelers have been mediocre, inconsistent teams to this point in the season. Neither of us are "much better" than anyone.

Yeah both teams are about a year away from being legitimate contenders for a SB.

Agreed. Pretty awesome! Love the pump up for a Steelers' game!

Now let's go sweep these guys! Great way to get back on track.

Yeah!  Big Ben throwing 6 TD's against the Colts was a fluke!  Man please!  That was just straight up ballin'.

They are both 5-3.

Vegas has the Ravens have favorites to win...on the road. They are the people who make money off these games so they must see something a lot of the "experts" don't.

I think that last week was somewhat of an aberration. Losing Jimmy on the first drive threw a giant wrench into the defensive gameplan. Having an entire week to gameplan how to control Roethlisberger and Brown helps, so it sucks that Jimmy is out but I don't think it's the end of the world.

Steelers D is far more porous than the Ravens and our offense has been better at scoring points as well. I like the Ravens to win a close one.

I know how to act in some one elses house.

I will be respectful.

Other than that.  Words are just words.

Yeah it's certainly possible. Vegas does usually get it right. The one nice thing is that at least Pittsburgh won last week and it's hard to always win like that every week. That could benefit us in this game and as you said, we had to make an in-game adjustment when we lost Smith.

Love Steeler week! Big game, big hits, their house, oh yeah. Big game for us a series sweep would come in helpful later in the season as the AFC North could come down to tie breakers. All I can say is GO  :argdancingravensblueonbvx4: !!

I'm honestly shocked how many people are picking us to win. No win could make me happier than winning on Sunday; a sweep of the Steelers is about the second-best feeling a Ravens fan can have besides a Super Bowl win.

The picks on ESPN are 11-3, so thats not everyone…the curse is broken! Whoo hoo!

i love it when most people pick against us.

It was a fluke...not to disrespect roethlisberger but don't tell me that 500 yards and 6 td's is something that he could do against an NFL defense on more than one occasion even without their top corner

Yes, we've both been inconsistent, but the Ravens have losses to the Bengals (twice) and the Colts, and haven't lost by more than 7. The Steelers have lost to the Browns, Bucs, and Ravens, getting blown out twice.

I hear ya! To be totally honest, I don't feel comfortable about this game at all. I just don't know which Steelers team will show up…and we have to wait until Sunday night!

If any one from either side is ever NOT nervous about RAVENS vs. Steelers, they simply don't understand the intense rivalry.

November Football starts tomorrow.  This is when the Ravens kick it up for the playoffs. Starting w/ that sweep.  OD is the gamechanger.

Bottom line is if we get consistent pressure on Big Ben we win. If not ,we lose.

It's as simple as that.Assuming turnovers are the same.

Our secondary is so weak without Jimmy ,I would think it ranks near the bottom

in the NFl.

Anyone have stats on where our secondary ranks?
