Shazier, hurt and injured taken 15th overall. CJ Mosley taken 17th, and had the injury label attached to him, perfectly healthy and beasting.

This has to be one of the worst season's of defenses. Please don't tell me that having a good defense is gonna become a rarity?

Of course it will be. They have been slanting the rules in favor of offenses (or at least favored quarterbacks) for years. For a passer to have 300 yards in a game used to be special once upon a time. Now this stuff is almost the norm.

The rules play an effect for sure, but... for the most part....it seems like the quality of defensive players has really been down.  Injuries have a lot to do with it too.

I'm surprised the Saints didn't play that last drive more aggressively. Go for seven, then try to kick the Packers with another seven to open the second half.

Seriously. Big Ben has Antonio brown. Brian hoyer has josh gordan (sometimes). Andy Dalton has A.J green. We need to get Flacco a premier WR.

Meh.  Russel Wilson is a prime example that you don't need prime real estate at WR. 

 

Look at all the weapons Jay Cutler has.  Look at what Kapernick has.  Joe just needs a reliable receiver.  He doesnt need an allstar.

These are the Saints that I thought they'd be all season. It'll be interesting to see which team shows up the rest of the season, and if they can ever win on the road.
