Ray Rice?

Does anyone have inside info about his health and return? I heard nothing about him all last week and then a no show for Dallas. Man I hope he is getting well quick. With McGahee seeming to be out of his funk, McClain his usual steamrolling self and Rice back we will give opposing D's fits.

My sources told me that Ray is resting till the playoffs, but could possibly get some play time this week if he is needed.

I heard his contusion is doing a lot better. Although he is still a little sore, he should be fine.

Coach Harbaugh said in his press conference that Ray will need a full week of treatment. This is the first i've actually heard him talk in depth about injuries he usually hides them or shys away from them. Ray most likely will not be seen sunday except in the extreme case he is needed (Emergency back). Bone and tendon contusions are pretty painful especially in the shin.

He should be ready for the JAX.

I'm not saying he needs to play but just incase things get hot.

I do think he should get some touches in the Jags game. Don't want him to go into the playoffs sore.

I'd hold off on him til the playoffs. I think McClain and McGahee can handle the load against the Jags and our receiving corps should have a pretty decent day even without Mason. I think Clayton, Heap, and Marcus Smith will have nice days, its about time that Smith gets a catch for some reason Joe keeps overthrowing him. We need to rest Rice and Mason and Reed shouldn't play the whole game either. If we are able to make the playoffs with all the injuries we have sustained and NO BYE WEEK then I think thats as impressive as anything any other team has done this season to reach this point.
