Halfway through the season, who are our top Offseason priorities?

and TE, in that order.

I would be ok with TE and WR flip flopped if we got a top flight Jimmy Grahm/ Gronk type TE and added a quality receiver for depth. We need a bonefied top receiving threat at some level on the offense for sure, as well as to inject more overall talent and depth at TE for sure sure.

The only thing that scares me about getting guys like that are 1) They'll have injury issues because LBs and DBs constantly are gunning for them. and 2) If they have stellar play, they'll demand BIG BUCKS!

Yeah, sorry. He's produced like this his whole career.

Everyone said he'd gotten more consistent - I suppose that's true but not really if you look at the season so far.

But when I look at the body of work of the QBs everyone loves - they really aren't any more consistent outside of Rodgers and Luck.

You can't deny though, that a big part of all that are receivers that simply cannot get any separation at all outside of Smith Sr. Flacco was extending plays like mad throughout that first half & they still couldn't do it.

Then he pressed and bad things always happen then .

True to the injuries. But I think money wise wouldn't be much different, should theoretically be cheaper. At very least you get 4-5 years of cheap production

I love talking about the draft, even when we're winning. We could be 8-0 right now and I'd still love talking about the draft.

I guess if I had to rank it on pure need: TE > WR > CB > RB

If I had to rank need by round:

WR: Round 1: White, Strong, or Cooper. Round 2: Diggs, Green

CB: Round 1: Trae Waynes. Round 2: PJ Williams, Marcus Peters, Ikpre-Olomu (really think he's overhyped)

RB: Round 1: Gurley, White. Round 2: Abdullah, Ajayi

TE: Round 1: (no first round TE talent). Round 2: Nick O'Leary, Funchess (really bad year for TE talent)

I feel the same about the draft. It's fun to watch prospects and project future fits and wants. Lol.

I think I understand why you project TE as a big need. Pitta is coming off the same injury two years in a row. Not good. We did draft Gillmore and if I'm being honest he's actually looked pretty good. He hasn't been the most athletic of TE but I think he could be a Heath Miller type of TE. I also think we could get Daniels back on a cheap deal at worst. We also do have Juszczyk who can play a hybrid role.

I think missing a reliable, big target for Joe more than anything. Kevin White is a great fit, same goes for Strong. We're unlikely to have a chance at Cooper. I'm also a huge fan of Greene even if he isn't that big threat player. He's extremely talented. I also like Goodley.

Problem with drafting CB is they rarely contribute their first year. It takes time for them to truly acclimate. Same goes for WR but to a lesser extent since a lot of rules favor them. We'll need to draft a sign a CB this year.

Rex Ryan needs to be our #1 priority

If Caldwell had not have been hired by the Lions, he'd still be here.  Harbs isn't gonna fire Pees nor should he.  When your DEF allows the least amount of points in the league there you've pretty much made your case that you're doing something right.
