Are we the best team in the league right now?

after dismantling a top flight passing offense like that, and our secondary finally coming together, with our pass rush looking insane, and our offense still playing balanced football and making it happen in the run game and playing methodical football with occasional splash plays on offense, we may be the best team in league.

passing YPG and YPG allowed is overrated, everyone wants to point out the teams that put up 300+ passing yards a week, but we are the most balanced team in the league, if we fix our road woes next week against cinci, i will easily declare us the best team in the nfl.

2nd in point differential.

3 way tie for 5th in PPG.

3rd in PPG allowed.

middle of the pack in TOP

above league average in TO differential with +2

arguments could be made for dallas, san diego and detroit, but i dont see the same offensive balance from them(aside from dallas) and with dallas they dont have the defense to hang with us, and with cinci and seattle looking like they are falling off hard, i dont know if you can continue to make arguments for them.

ladies and gentleman, we very well may be the best team in football, and the playoff picture is looking like it should. we could be looking at another serious shot at bringing home some hardware barring any major injuries.

Not even close. Colts, Broncos, Chargers, and Cowboys are the class of the league right now. We're on the second tier with the Packers, Lions, and a few others.

We could beat all those teams.

they put up pretty stats for the fantasy guys, thats why theyre the class of the league. im not talking about class, im talking about winners, which they also are, but remember, only one of those teams have played us so far, and they barely walked out of their own stadium with a win, also remember they had a full squad, we were missing our LT which proved to be the biggest problem in that game.

Indy dominated us and thoroughly dominated Cinci, so there is no way to support an argument we are better than Indy. And, you're record says what you are and there are several teams with only one loss.

Cowboys will go back to their old selves. They are never the class of the league lol.

They did?

If we beat the Bengals in their stadium then we can make this argument. Right now it is embarrassing to think that we are up there.

an argument can certainly be made, but i would wait until after the Bengals game next week really. They barely escaped in week 1, a little revenge will be nice. We may be the most balanced at the moment. On a good day i don't know anyone that we couldn't beat

Pretty sure we held Andrew Luck pretty well, and it's a matter of the offense tripping over itself as if they all had hangovers. Play like today against the Colts and we would have won - even with those INTs.

They beat us but didn't dominate us lol. It was close until the end.

Oh ok, just making sure. I knew that game wasn't that long ago

Even then, I'd call losing by seven with the chance to tie it up on the last possession a close game.

But either way, I think it's WAY too early to start crowning us the best team in the league right now. We're good, well improved from last season and I'd even argue from our SB team, but we have a long way to go before we can talk about being the best.

We're Super Bowl contenders again, which is all that matters. I think it's safe to say we're the most balanced team in the league right now. Offense & Defense have the potential to play lights out any given Sunday. Both can carry each other and when the whole team is in sync, we're incredibly dangerous.

I think this offense might already be the greatest in franchise history.

Ravens were 2nd in DVOA headed into todays game. Another dominant win could bump that further.

Im not sure we are the best team, but I think we are easily a top 5 team. Maybe Denver, Indy, GB ahead of us.

This is the funniest thread I've seen in a WHILE.

We just beat down 2 of the worst teams in the league.  The Falcons might be the softest team in the league with one of the worst o lines and defenses.  The Bucs allowed the same team we just beat down to put up 50+ on em.  NO.  We lost to the Colts last week.  If this team plays to it's potential, then sure, I guess, but there is a lot of season left.  Unfortunately, we won't see a real test again of this team until we play the Chargers.  And say what you want, but I think our offense might struggle against the Texans as well, though I wouldn't mind being wrong.

I'd put the Colts, Chargers and Broncos ahead for now.  Besides that, I think we handle any team or make it close depending on which offense shows up.  It's weird to see how much weaker the NFC west looks this year.
