Yeah he was pretty negative today......I was just thinking about a little single malt on the rocks to celebrate, you in?

how was i negative? all i did was say that it was a possiblilty that they could come back. I wasn't be a "ratedr jr.," i never once said anything negative about the Ravens, i never said they were definitely going to come back, i never even said they would definitely score

Zeus is just arrogantly taking that as me being against the Ravens, he has somehow got it into his head that i said anything other than it was a possiblity which is complete truth, there was plenty of time and two TDs would have won them the game, that not negative, thats pointing out the truth

The problem with Flacco is when he's bad, he's usually AWFUL, but when he's on point, he looks like one of the best.  You rarely get just in between.   Or there is 2 Face Flacco where you get one terrible half followed by a brilliant one or vice versa.

I didn't get a chance to watch the whole game. only the 4th quarter. How was he today?

This was an in between game for me.  He had some good throws but had 2 really bad picks.  Wasn't bad, but wasn't special to me.  in his defense on one of the picks, they said it was windy and it was a deep throw.  The other Torrey dropped a first down the play prior, but you still can't make the decision he did to loft it into double coverage to Owen Daniels.  Did have a nice 4th down pass to Torrey for a TD though.

I meant ratedr.....for which I said he instead of she.....for which I apologize. I really do not want to offend anyone, especially on such a great day. Sorry for the confusion.

Bunk, is that you?

No I was never in the Homicide Unit. I was Robbery and Narcotics. I knew the real Bunk though.

Just because its possible doesn't mean we want to hear it.

You have a valid point, there was a potential for the Falcons to come back there - but it was very improbably.  It is just a little bit annoying when it seems like the entire feeling of the board changes to "the sky is falling" because we allowed a team to score one time in a game.

LOL truth. I just laugh. They look competent for one drive and the board goes crazy lol

No it only annoys people when people don't give him credit for his accomplishments but are quick to give him all the hate in the world when he doesn't light the world on fire.

That's called being a major hater.

Boom

So on to the more important game....the Bengals. How do the Ravens ensure a victory at the Bengals house?

a healthy KO and Monroe would be a very good start

I hope that toe bothers AJ Green for one more week.

It's the same crap year in and year out. If Flacco isn't dead perfect every quarter of every game he gets "due criticism".

If they lost, would it have been a TEAM loss?

Yes.

Lordy, people are dumb when it comes to Flacco. He has good games, bad games and average games. As does EVERYONE in the NFL. Chill out if he's criticized for a play, series or game. Sheeh, the dudes not infallible

Like I said in the vent thread, Joe made some pretty stupid plays and they're on him. But Jimmy Smith and CJ Mosley had a couple of howlers that I saw too, but no-one's coming down as hard on them (as they shouldn't. It's not like there's some systemic issue of bad play that threatens to derail our season or anything).

CJ gets a pass for me. He's a rookie that is playing lights out (for the most part) and Jimmy missed an INT, no doubt. Those 2 INTs were bad and almost another. 2 (almost 3) INTs cannot happen.

he had an average game today. Have no idea what happened with that one he just put up there for grabs. The first one though is on Torrey. Bad positioning, bad route running, bad decisions on his part.

I agree that on the whole they had good games (hell, I bought a CJ jersey after week one so I'm one of the last people who'd come down hard on his overall performance), and not even Ed Reed can be Ed Reed on every play. But to me it feels like because Joe's the QB, people don't look at his games through the same context that they do for these other guys. The picks were stupid and I'll criticise him for that, but overall I really didn't think his game was that bad.

Yeah, and I felt the almost pick was a good play by the CB more than anything. He wasn't flash and won't get many Pro Bowl votes off that performance (I'm sure he'll be devastated), but on the whole I'd say his game was in the "average to good" category.

Yeah I mean, sometimes the other teams' players make good plays too lol

I'm still angry that Torrey didn't even try to push the DB away when he finally spotted the ball. An OPI vs. giving up a TD. Hmmmmm.

Torrey rarely (if ever) fights for the ball.

He needs to spend some time with Smith Sr.

Suggs continues getting pressure. I don't care about stats. Doom and McPhee are beasts. Flacco has looked solid. Stupid throw with the wind and to a fairly soft Torrey, but its excused. Forsett looks awesome again and OD is a GREAT addition, especially with Pitta out again this season. Oz, you amaze, you prophet!

Drink time!

The safety was the cherry on top.
