I believe they look for a head-to-head sweep (not applicable). After that, it goes to the conference record, then the common games record (with a four-way tie I'm guessing there's no-one all four sides have faced), then the strength of victory (thank you Bucs) and the strength of the schedule after that.

 

So doing the numbers off the top of my head, it would be Chargers and Colts at one and two, with us the Patriots at three and four.

 

Also forgot about Denver who is 4-1 and a win tonight means they are 5-1 and atop the AFC at the number one seed.

Too bad they play in week nine, it may not be flexed into SNF but hopefully it does. Eagles are on a BYE who are also 5-1. Cowboys and Eagles face off twice in three weeks. First in week 13 in Dallas, then week 15 which is a Sunday Night game in Philadelphia.
